Great food. We had the seafood buffet, which was good. Others had Goat's cheese tart which was delicious, Pork belly and seafood linguine were also very good. Desserts were also delicious. Would definitely recommend, also a nice country drive.
tried this place for a Sunday lunch. ambience is great, service is ok, food is average. Is it worth the drive? Not quite, the cafe next door is better in our opinion.
Amazing food at the Butter Factory and will be coming back for it. I’ve never been a tofu fan but the chilli tofu here, it’s addictive! I could have easily had another plate of it, it was perfect. The panna cotta which I’m told is a difficult dish to make came out perfectly too and a big thank you to the staff for making it extra special for my mum’s birthday.
The worst food… I have had We ordered lamb, barramundi and pork belly. The food was so dry and meat was tough. It was cooked so so badly. The wait person knew we had not eaten our meals … and when we did inform her that the food was substandard … she just said that she will let the chef know. I guess it is a fair response but this place is supposed to be fine dining. I will never visit this place again. Parking: Ok
Beautiful restaurant, beautiful location, beautiful ambience and the staff was wonderful, attentive and friendly. Ticks a lot of boxes. But and a big but, the food, was very disappointing. We ordered zucchini flowers, garlic bread, New York striploin steak and pork belly. None of the dishes were seasoned correctly, and steak was painfully dry and overcooked we ordered medium rare. Same with pork, it was overcooked and dry, not juicy as it should be after 8 hours of slow cooking. See photos for reference.
Lovely location sitting outside looking over the beautiful green paddocks, chickens wandering past. seafood platter was delicious & generous! all the meals including the desert's were great, our young male waiter outshone all the floor staff ,only thing was we gave up on our coffee's & just went & paid the bill. Sorry but the girls on the floor seemed swamped.Enjoyable evening none the less.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Great staff. We had a great night and it is a great place to visit.
I think the views and service were lovely, but food needs improvement in terms of seasoning. I ordered the new york striploin in medium rare, I think the doneness I asked for was alright but it's bland. It included duck fat potatoes but it tasted just normal unseasoned potatoes. My friends loved their crispy barramundi dish though but the ones who ordered squid ink linguine and risotto said the same about under seasoning.
This was a great little find. Food and service was excellent. Only criticism put the aircon on when it's a hot day we left because it was just too hot in there - I'm guessing it's because one table is positioned right under the aircon and diners probably asked them to turn it off at the expense of everyone else. Other than that highly recommend.
Reserved table for four people. Upon arrival, seated outside at a large table without a tablecloth. It was poor weather and only four of us were outside We ordered food. Garlic bread was served by little boy. The steak is served with vegetables instead of fries. All four orders were cold. This is our first visit to this restaurant and we felt very bad and discriminated. In addition to the poor service, the prices are too high for the quality and service. Never again!
