Greendale's is full of charm and great service and we will definitely be back! My fiancé and I came here for the first time for lunch, right after getting engaged at Merribee Gardens. We couldn't have been happier with our experience. The food was so delicious, and at the time the place was decorated for Halloween with the staff all in fantastic costumes, which was especially delightful for me as Halloween is my favourite holiday. When we informed the staff of our special occasion they went to great lengths to help us celebrate, which we appreciated so much!
Such a beautiful place! We sat outside and loved it. Staff was really friendly and the scones to die for Coffee was very good too. We also had a large takeaway order dips, fish, calamari, chicken burgers, soul bowl, nuggets, more scones and everyone enjoyed their food. Will be back if in the area.
Stumbled upon lovely Greendale when travelling around Jervis Bay. This cottage style cafe which overlooks a cornfield is truly a hidden gem. Great food, great coffee and do not leave without trying the best scones ever!
Tasty well sized attractive meals. Friendly service with a smile. Awesome relaxing rustic decor. Would've rated 5 except for my personal dislike of using cutlery handled by probing others.
What a lovely welcoming place. Good food and coffee and lovely people set in an amazing location. Thanks for welcoming our Plein air group today.
So lucky to stumble across this hiddem gem, love the vibe, the view, the food and the people here. Crispy pork and kiwo fruit skewers is a lovy surprise. Will come back
On holidays and this place has been a highlight when it comes to food and service. Country style cooking and old school hospitality is their tag line and that’s exactly what they serve. The food portions are generous and the menu interesting. Service is not forced and staff genuinely try and engage with you and I believe want you to enjoy their place. I didn’t book and they do take reservations seriously a sign out the front asking you to consider booking but after experiencing this place I can understand why you should book. Vegetarian options: Several good options. Kid-friendliness: Paddock to run in Parking: Large Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp Dietary restrictions: Vegan and GF options
This is such a lovely spot that I'm wary of sharing so as not to spoil the atmosphere. But I'd be remiss if I didn't talk about the food as well as the experience. There's always something happening here. Markets, craft fairs, and workshops. The sense of community is so lovely. And let's not forget the food. Lots of excellent food, including all-day breakfast where the flavours are really intense. I love their nourish bowls and their version of an eggs benedict. My partner always has their burger, which I often do get food envy, but I have to watch the carbs ;- Treat yourself one Sunday afternoon. Bring a book. Take some friends and indulge in a cocktail. Chat to the staff who are all awesome and willing to share stories about the area. The buzz around Greendale's is half the fun of living in the country! Vegetarian options: Lots of wholesome food. Fresh vegetables and excellent veggie burgers.
Greenvale is our local go to. Coffee is great and we love the food. The Cafe has a great atmosphere, looking out to farm land. The staff are attentive and hard working. Nothing is a problem.. We particularly enjoy the bright personality of Leafy, though all the staff are have a great work ethic. They all should be congratulated for the success off the business. Kariene
Treat yourself and your loved ones to an incredible Greendales Cafe experience!! Set on the backdrop of some beautiful country landscapes and nestled between some lovely antique shops this cafe clearly prides itself on the entire experience. From the moment you walk in the front door the hostess Leafy? will make you feel special. Oh and do yourself a favour and try the multiple award winning scones.
