The half rack ribs were my choice, share with a friend and ask to put the chips on the side so you don't end up with soggy chips. Sauce on ribs sweet savoury and delicious. Chips were crispy and soft in the middle. This came with a salad on the side with a nice saucenSirloin meal had chips and salad, medium rare and it was delicious. Steak soft and melted in your mouth with garlic butter on top.nPork belly crispy top with mash potatoes and veg was a delight for our daughter and she ordered a rosebud to go with her delicious meal.nNow the only issue was we had to wait for some time for our desserts, we also had to remind waiting staff that we ordered dessert with our mains. However once dessert arrived, the chocolate bomb was delectable and worth the wait. The chocolate sauce poured on the bomb was entertaining as it melted and uncovered a delightful fruity gelato type ice cream in the middle. A lovely and very tasty surprise and I will definitely order it again. Our daughter had apple crumble and was happily filled with her dessert. A great family place and opens up to a beautiful day.
Came into a very quiet Wednesday night service. The place has good food and the Wednesday night house beer and burgers was good, the waitress was great had awesome service.nThe manager was bad though, haha he was weird and a bit rude. There should be another item for other ratings because that manager is a 1 star for sure
Not many people during weekdaynOur waiter was very friendly & attentive.nMeals were very delicious.nWe were watching Olympic during our lunch which was great.nWill go back again
Went for a couple cheeky lunch time beers. The staff were actually amazing, came and asked if we needed more drinks or water and let us know where the warmest area was it was a cold day. The place has a warm relaxed feel. The upgrades have given so much more space. Toilets were clean. Will be back another day to try the food.nnIt's great to finally find some real hospitality in wellington again.nnI was told when I walked in, but Incase you are not told, make sure you validate your parking at the sign in screen by inside ATM to avoid a parking fine. That particular company takes no prisoners.nnUpdate review. Had dinner. This time I was a little disappointed. Ordered lamb shank and beef Wellington. Shank was more bone than meat. Beer was on the dry side and a bit average. Vege sides were good though.
We were slightly annoyed as we weren't seated or spoke to right away, and when we were sat we had no drinks or menus, however bearing in mind it was rugby night and the place was hopping. We left to go elsewhere and a lovely man there came out and asked us to stay, well glad we did, I've had brunch here many times so knew we wouldn't be upset, the dinner was absolutely beautiful and the puddings Devine. Thank you for looking after us the way you did, your passion for customers and for customer service is the absolute bless, nothing but love and praise for you and will definitely be returning many times more.
