Saturday 9th November popped in to watch All Blacks game. Old guy at reception was so glum. Found great seats in a crowd of 20? we both ordered the SMALL breakfast for $15. 6/10. Most dishes on the menu are overpriced for the portions. Person at bistro area took order and wouldn’t cater to a dietary request. He seemed young and didn’t seem confident about his responses. Game was definitely the highlight even when the sound disappeared . Average experience and the place has certainly dropped in standards. I would visit again if it was the only option but I’ll definitely watch the next game at a different venue.
Went for family lunch. First signs of poor service was been given a buzzer as if it’s some takeaway joint, when I went to get my food I was disappointed with the amount of chips with the kids meal, and with my burger. Food was satisfactory, nothing special. Although no sauce was given with my chips, kids meals had some.. Second sign was when I ordered 2 lemon lime and bitters and the bar staff simply popped open a Bundaberg bottle and gave it to me, no offer of a glass or ice. Had to get my own glass. To top it off, the table we’re sitting at was 2 trestle fold out tables, above it were about 6 blown lights. Just underwhelming over all.
Ribeye steak....with a fried egg and mushrooms on mash. Very tasty. Good atmosphere.Great staff, always friendly and polite. They never disappoint.
So embarrassing our memberships had expired as we found out after being served drinks. Young lady very helpful. Young man Haden couldn't do enough too assist us. We had 5 of us a enjoyable meal and of course a nice drink. Thanks so much to the staff on Sat 13th July. Now back up north.
Great food, had a lunch there with a group. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
