Story

The Brothers Oven is a locally owned Family Business, located in the homeworld centre in Tuggeranong.
All bread, cakes, slices, pies and pastries are all baked fresh, daily on the premises.
The Brothers Oven is also a wholesale company and supplies to over 100 different cafes, resturants and bars within the Canebrra area.
In 2012 The Brothers Oven was awarded the title of 'Canberra's best pies,' as voted by mix 106.3 listeners.
Furthermore, over the years the Brothers Oven has won many bread competitions locally and nationally. These are all displayed within the store.
The Brothers Oven also completes some charity work, and supplies bread to many local foundations on a weekly basis. Furthermore the Brothers Oven completes some charity work in events aorund Canberra.

Extremely rude customer service, felt like we were getting judged the whole time we were standing there waiting for our coffee, which wasn’t even hot. If you only have two customers in your business at one time, you may as well have the decency to be kind and welcoming.

When we first arrived at the brothers oven we were instantly stunned that we had never heard of this bakery before. It had a lovely interior and good atmosphere. It was spacious but still had enough going on to feel homey. The service was okay but not great, a smile goes a long way! The waitress also did not tell the two of us how much our order costs which was a bit dissapointing. Other waitresses seemed to be very good so the person that served us might have just had an off day. The sausage roll was phenomenal. Pastry was excellent, perfect size and perfect temperature. Sandwhiches look very nice but did not have the room to try one! 

To conclude The Brothers Oven was a lovely bakery with one of the best pastries in Canberra so we would definitely recommend coming along when in Tuggeranong, in my opinion much better than the food court and just as well priced.
