Really like the Bower and the general idea! Great place if you get lucky to find some good quality old furniture that just needs a bit of love to shine again!
I can't leave without a handful of books. I visit weekly while the kids are doing Taekwondo and the staff are always lovely. Heaps of random items. I think this would be a great place for a man with a shed to visit as heaps of tools and bits and materials. Books are upstairs.
The bower The talk about reuse and repair also about stopping landfill all this is hot air I have some items that are new or near new , so I send email 15/1/23 and started the items I need to get rid off , I didn't get a reply after 7 days ,so I left a message on their website and still no reply , today is 1/2/23 So it seems that it will be landfill to get rid off the items So therefore the are all talk and no action

Average shopping center. Not too many exciting shops, too many clothes and other beauty establishments. Food court not too good weather.
A usually very lovely place, but after bringing my dog into the shop patted and acknowledged by the guy on the front door this highly unpleasant woman with a very poor attitude tersely asks me to "tie my dog up outside" for nothing, had done nothing at all, despite moments earlier a human accidently breaking something. Fix your attitude or go somewhere else and be miserable. 11am Sunday.

I’ve managed to repair and reuse several items through the Bower. The Redfern wood workshop assembled and refinished an old oak table that had been sitting in our shed in parts for years. It was beautifully done. Luke, who manages the wood workshop, patiently helped me modify an old office cabinet and taught me the skills to finish it at home later. It’s a rare and useful studio item now, and will be used to store large sheets of paper. As well, I’ve reclaimed two broken lamps through the electrical repair café.
They look up price and compare what a load off rubbish just because someone has it for so much doesn't meen the customer is going too pay for it.
