I have been to this shop several times and bought a few small items. Previously, I just felt the staff were a little too keen and thought nothing of it. This time the old lady mentioned in other reviews seemed very impatient for no reason. She first asked if I needed help. To which, I replied I am good. Shortly after, she asked me how many spoons and forks I needed while I was still looking. When I reluctantly responded that I only needed what I had in my hand, she promptly grabbed them from my hand and started processing the sale even though I gave no indication of having finished looking yet. It was around 1:30pm and not busy in the shop at the time. She and other staff seemed in good mood dancing and singing to XMas music. For some reason, she wanted to get me out of her shop as soon as possible. Maybe, I am one of the groups of people they do not generally appreciate in their shop based on their experiences or prejudices.
Great service and wrapped our presents beautifully. You should commend Maryanne.
Kitchen Queen is located in: Marrickville Metro Shopping Centre near the food court , the store has all kitchen needs for the whole family including kids, like pots and pans ,plates ,silverware under one roof, some products are sold at discounted rates , the staff are helpful .

Walked past the store this morning. Due to the current lockdowns, the store was closed for browsing however Harry was prompt offering assistance in a Covid safe setting. We weren’t planning on buying anything however the affordable prices, excellent value and Harry’s expert advise and personality, lead us to enquire about Global knives and bought a beautiful set which we’re really happy with. Thank you Harry.
Good price, good customer service, got a bery pretty and good quality $3 medium size bowl . very recommended!
If you want good service and to be able to find what you want quickly and get out this is the place to come. They know their stock and their prices are good. I can get in and out of this shop with exactly what I need in less time than it takes to stand in the queue at that big discount kitchen place in the city.

It's a must visit experience. I never leave Kitchen Queen without a unique gift for either myself, friends or family. They have such a variety of must have's from pots, pans, tableware, picnic sets and eco friendly utensils. Staff are so informative, attentive and helpful. Feels like a family business & I've also felt comfortable browsing and not rushed into purchasing items.
Years ago I went there for cooking pans I have heard the boss told one of the customer "this is not made in China ,this is a top quality product" What an idiot, you can see inexpensive average quality German made products in Kmart and top quality Chinese made product in Myre, you simply get what you pay for. Actually, 90% of the products in this shop is made in China, so why are you still selling these products
