Nice pub with good value and tasty food. Pool table and gaming machines. $9.40 schooners of full strength beer and good food specials. $10 pints of Coopers Pale Ale but I think they keep that secret for locals. $4 for a game of pool, which is very expensive and unusual. $9.90 seniors meal of Fish, chips, salad and cake and cream is excellent value and the $23.90 roast of the day was delicious. Friendly and helpful staff.
We were seen to a great table really quickly by a nice young man. Although it was 6pm, there was only a short wait to order dinner, which arrived quickly and was delicious and fairly priced. The staff were lovely. We came on children eat free night we didn't know and there were children running around everywhere - which i guess is to be expected All in all, a nice place for a quick dinner. Five stars
Huge venue in Mildura. Haven't been here before. We were recommended to dine here by management of the hotel we were staying with. Great food, reasonably priced. After a long day of driving from Melbourne, we needed a good walk and a decent meal. My partner had a meat lovers pizza slab, a novel way to serve pizza, and he assured me it was delicious! I decided to have the beef schnitzel, chips, and salad, which wasn't exceptional but a tasty, hearty meal as would be expected. Overall, I would recommend and definitely visit again when in the area.
Arrived at the Gateway for a footy trip from Wallaroo in South Australia. The staff were extremely accommodating and welcoming. The food was amazing and service was exceptional. Gordon is an absolute legend and made us not want to leave his establishment, his manager was just as good and went above and beyond to change tv channels, recommend meals, get us the best table and make us feel most welcome. We will definitely be returning and strongly recommend anyone to visit this venue. You will not leave disappointed
