Food was perfect, they certainly know there steaks. We visited on a busy Sunday lunch. The staff were very professional and super friendly but I feel the poor guys were under the pump. We wanted more wine but couldn’t flag the waiter down, by the time we did we were finished our meal. We decided just to pop outside to the bar and have a wine there. Beautiful setting and restaurant
Always great food and service. Joey looked after us during last visit and did a great welcoming experience. Duck pastrami and Crab pie tasted really good. Great place for a special occasion.
Great food, lots of options with their Steaks a speciality. Cooked perfectly. Service was good, a little slow but they were exceptionally busy when we visited. Book head on the weekend. Parking: Gets very busy on the weekend. We had to find a park on a street a couple of blocks away.
If you're looking for a delicious steak dinner with impeccable service, the Boatshed Restaurant at the Regatta Pub is definitely worth checking out. Our waitress, Dubya, was fantastic - she provided excellent service and was always quick to refill our drinks. The food was also amazing - I highly recommend the 60-day dry-aged rib fillet. After dinner, we headed over to The Walrus Club for some after-dinner drinks, and the live jazz and cocktails were both top-notch. Unfortunately, parking can be a bit of a hassle, but it's well worth it once you get inside.
Amazing steak. Had the wagyu rump. Great service. Nice beer. Great night out.
Had an amazing 300g dry aged porterhouse steak here. You will pay speciality prices for these steaks but they are delicious. What you see pictured is what you get for about $50. Vegetables are extra, but can be shared between two. Parking: The parking at the Regatta is a hot mess and you should try parking at Toowong Village instead if you are going at main meal times. Or try for an on-street park in the metered parks surrounding the area. If you do attempt to park on site, the car park is shared with the bottle shop, so good luck and may the odds be forever in your favour. Wheelchair accessibility: The Boatshed toilets are down a flight of stairs and the main entrance is up a flight of platform stairs from the carpark. I think from memory there is access through the main pub deck.
Still a great restaurant and setting for lunch or dinner. Awesome views towards the Brisbane River. Service and food 5 star. Children’s menu is also one of the best and NOT the typical slap together frozen nugget fest!
Top steaks top fish top pasta. Top service. This team has the right attitude. Consistent. Always. Menu changes... hold the chips maybe bring back the salad option.Food: 5/5
Had a horrible time at this place Even though our server was lovely and always looking after us. The food was atrocious. As a large group we spent around 300 dollars and what we got was not worth the money. The “wedge” salad was nothing more the. A glorified head of lettuce with an Inproportionate amount of dressing and tomato’s. For 17 dollars I might add. The linguini was bitter and the steak was not cooked to order. Should not be coming back before change is made
Ok. Not particularly impressive, especially given the cost. My duck gnocci was basically some flavourless shredded duck breast plonked on top of some flavourless gnocci, the saving grace being the tomato sauce from the chips . Our waiter was wonderful, but Benn, the guy taking payment for the meal, was flustered and unprofessional and called the customers in front of us "idiots". I've definitely had worse, but won't be hurrying back here anytime soon.
