Good food, great service and have become a regular place for our family. The latest experience was a lunch for Mother’s Day lunch. Our favourite was Honey, Cherry & Dark Chocolate Semi Freddo dessert. Just a heads up, we’re charged for the sparkling water! We had never been charged for sparkling or tap water elsewhere!
Food was perfect, they certainly know there steaks. We visited on a busy Sunday lunch. The staff were very professional and super friendly but I feel the poor guys were under the pump. We wanted more wine but couldn’t flag the waiter down, by the time we did we were finished our meal. We decided just to pop outside to the bar and have a wine there. Beautiful setting and restaurant
Always great food and service. Joey looked after us during last visit and did a great welcoming experience. Duck pastrami and Crab pie tasted really good. Great place for a special occasion.
Great food, lots of options with their Steaks a speciality. Cooked perfectly. Service was good, a little slow but they were exceptionally busy when we visited. Book head on the weekend. Parking: Gets very busy on the weekend. We had to find a park on a street a couple of blocks away.
Great food, great atmosphere, amazing staff. Huge shout out to all the staff working on Anzac day, a ridiculously busy public holiday. The gentleman who served us was really kind to our table of 7, and told us how short-staffed they were. Even then, the food did not take long to come out, and we were thoroughly entertained by the open kitchen and watching the chefs work their magic. Risotto was divine, a perfect amount of goats cheese, and heard great things about the steaks. A great place for a lunch, also take your time to enjoy the venue, and look up at the ceiling. Thank you for a wonderful meal and service, your staff are absolutely nailing it. Vegetarian options: The pumpkin Risotto was a divine veggie option!
Wonderful atmosphere with parking in the back. Our server was very knowledgeable and patient taking time to explain the menu and options to our group of 7. Definitely would go back as the wagyu and dry ages steaks were amazing!!Food: 5/5
First time to try this fancier restaurant in Regatta hotel. The environment is definitely much better than the bar area. Most staffs are very friendly, especially the manager whose smile is really sweet and welcoming. However, I didn’t taste the food here are significantly better than the bar food they serve. The dish presenting is even slightly worse than their bar. But the price of bar is much cheaper than the restaurant. So I guess I would just go to the bar in the future. And in bar you can order by phone.
Short summary: Poor and slow service, disappointing steaks, great atmosphere however this is the second time we've been here in under a year, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times the same issues. Long Story: Partner and I were here recently for a friend's birthday. When we first arrived we were advised by the staff that there was a booking immediately following ours in 1 hour and 45 minutes which we didn't mind. It took close to 30 minutes before someone came to take a drinks order and we decided to order food at the same time since we were conscious of time. Over an hour later the entrees and mains had still had not arrived and no one had been to the table to take a second order for drinks. Mains eventually arrived first so we decided to cancel the entrees. The birthday girls' steak eye fillet was requested rare however was extremely well done so was sent back. My partner and I each got the porterhouse steak and requested rare and medium rare. The rare steak was incredibly tough and difficult to chew still rare however with the medium rare steak getting progressively better. Due to the booking time pressure we choose not to send this back. It came out later that they managed to shift the booking following ours prior to the mains coming of which we were not informed of until after when we got up to settle the bill. The boathouse house is beautifully presented however everything else about it is rather disappointing.
Still a great restaurant and setting for lunch or dinner. Awesome views towards the Brisbane River. Service and food 5 star. Children’s menu is also one of the best and NOT the typical slap together frozen nugget fest!
Chefs Adam and Jacob were on Fire! Magnificent meal, delicious drinks, amazing atmosphere! Imogen was incredibly attentive and courteous! Cannot recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be coming back!Food: 5/5
