One of the best Fish & Chip locations on the Coast. Location is stunning on a sunny day. Eat in the restaurant or take away and relax on the outdoor fringe with stunning views and lovely vibes. This particular day, there was live music happening in the outdoor section of the restaurant so we got to enjoy that as a bonus. See the pics and watch the video below for what I am writing about. Highly recommend this place.
Did a birthday celebration in the main restaurant - food was good and service was ok. We went on a Friday for an early dinner and unfortunately it was so loud with the outdoor DJ and many people drinking along the front it is not the ideal place to have relaxing dinner. Would be better to go later in the evening and hope the rowdiness has calmed down but I can’t confirm. We were seated right next to the water which was nice but many people are sitting right next to you drinking which gives more a PUB vibe. The lights get really dark after 6pm so hard to see the menu or the food. Someone also smashed a beer glass at the front of the restaurant where people were drinking and it took awhile for staff to clear. Food was enjoyable and the dessert was delicious. Would not go back however.
Great restaurant by the river with an excellent view. The food was good and didn't wait too long I did order a drink online and it took a little while it would have been faster to go to the bar. On the weekend the place is jammed packed and noisy to the point I couldn't hear what the people were saying at my table. Outside seating maybe better if you don't like the noise. Staff are friendly. The parking outside is busy so you may have to park in a side street.
We had a fabulous lunch here! We opted to share our dishes so we could try a bit of everything and it did not disappoint. Mussels and eggplant salad were a stand out.
The Boat Shed offer a delightful dining experience with their fish, calamari, and chips. The freshness and quality of the seafood are immediately noticeable, with the fish prepared to perfection and the calamari tender, flavorful, and expertly cooked. Adding to the experience is the restaurant’s stunning location right on the water’s edge, creating a fantastic ambiance that elevates the meal to something special.
