Food is extremely expensive and bland. Tastes like it came out of a discount warehouse. Service more than horrendous, staff are blunt, rude and obviously hate being there. They have no interest at all trying to make customers feel welcome. Very cold atmosphere. No toilets in house and are forced to go to find the dodgy public toilets outside. What an absolute joke. Place is absolute rubbish. Don't waste your time or money here. Only setting yourself up for disappointment.

Best time to go is after work, 4-6pm happy hour 500ml craft beers for $5! Cheaper than the bottleo...giving a 2/5 because surcharge for tapping my card which wasn't explained???? Got told total price for the beers and tapped my card then was charged a 1.5% seriously this day and age charging for tap and go? Staff could be nicer for a restaurant charging top dollar...and no toilets for a place serving alcohol, that's a negative score.

I had a great meal and I was luck enough to arrive during happy hour 4pm till 6pm. I had a pork schnitzel with jalepeano, sauerkraut and chips it was fantastic I had two beers which were $5 for pints I only had 2 butchers brides but they were ok. Next time I'm arriving at 4pm! There are no toilets here but Villages cinema is 30 seconds away and they have plenty. The atmosphere here is fantastic with lots of different restaurants close by. I only wished I lived closer. I may have to get a cab next time to drink for the 2 hours! 😁

Variety of their beers were second to none. I had tried at least 5 different type of beers at the pub. The staff at the bar was sweet and friendly. I had no problems paying by EFTPOS. I did not use Tap & Go as many people did to avoid the surcharge and I wasn't sure if paying by Tap & Go actually gave a surcharge. The food was okay, the highlight of the meal was the giant Pork Knuckle. I ordered the half portion and I was struggling to finish it. I tried my son's order which was the Chicken Schnitzel. I found it too salty. The other highlight of our family dinner at the Bavarian that night was that the staff was sweet enough to give us complementary pretzels fresh from the oven for our entrée. The reason I gave 4 stars was because they didn't have toilets for the customers. I had to go round the back to get to the public toilets or go to Village Cinema to use their toilets instead.

Good variety and quality of beer and the food was very nice as well. We had the Margarita Pizza and the Sausage platter and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and the food arrived within 20 minutes. We were here for lunch and it wasn't too busy but given the nice beer and food I suspect that it might be busy at night time.
