Had an amazing experience at The Bank in Newtown – Garden Bar! The food was absolutely fantastic — fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Sorry the pic was taken partly way through eating and not before - we were just enjoying it so much! The relaxed garden setting made it even better. A big shoutout to Jamie, whose service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend this spot for great food, great vibes, and top-notch service!
The Bank's got that cabana-like feel in the beer garden and courtyard in stark contrast to an unassuming sports pub upon entry. Really cool how there are three concealed staircases leading down to the area plus diverse spaces from sections along the corridors to the upstairs bar via separate doors for live gigs. Thanks to Lola and the team for kindly booking us the corner as well as permitting spillovers into the main courtyard - esp. suitable for those dry Winter days!
Amazing atmosphere and a beautiful garden bar. The food was Devine and it’s a great place to eat and the drinks available are delicious and extensive
This was a serendipitous find as we wandered in Newtown, and what a wonderful surprise! Our server/bartender Sarah was delightful and went out of their way to get finger limes for our delicious cocktails. My husband had the best lamb of our whole 2 week holiday in Sydney! My salad was perfect and the garden seating was so lovely.
Hi the 5 of us were there for Happy Hour and then elsewhere eventually for food.We felt like just some nibbles with our drinks.Orderred the fries ******. Absolutely shocking.Over cooked till they were hollow.Nothing like the pics shared by others.So disappointing.They were only fries.
