love courty but the food is often a big miss. steak was really disappointing, i asked for medium rare & it was cooked beyond well done. it was so chewy and leathery it was reminiscent of what i imagine my rm williams would taste like.
Okay-ish pub food. I was expecting something more decent from a Solotel-owned venue. The sauces were a letdown, the peppercorn sauce was essentially a powdered gravy mix with freshly ground pepper on top. The drinks menu is not too bad. The backyard space is the best spot.nnFor the price you pay, I expected something more refined. Rather than offering multiple side sauces that taste artificial, it would be better to serve a proper red wine jus made from real beef stock.

Hands down the best pub in the Inner West. What really makes this place special is the team. They take the time to learn your name, make you feel genuinely welcome, and create a real sense of community. Even if I’m just walking past, they’ll always wave hello to me and my dog from across the street. Seeing Kye and Beth there every day makes it feel like more than just a pub - it’s a place where everyone belongs. Highly recommend.
Maybe I'm easy pleased, but I like the Courthouse pub a lot.nFriendly faces, both staff and patrons, good drinks and nice food. Plus, the Swan's winning by 8 points was a bonus!
