This place is popular for a reason, top 3 best places to eat in Alice Springs by a mile. If you want the widest range for selection, I highly recommend getting in before 10:30 or everything will sell out.nnThe clear winner for me is their Reuben sandwich and Portuguese tarts. This place could stand on it own in Adelaide, which speaks volumes for its impact in the area.
I would return to Alice Springs just to eat the fluffiest, freshest and tastiest pastry you can imagine. No short cuts, no excessive sugar, salt or nasties. Just simple, fresh and well made ingredients. We tried almond croissant, almond scroll, blueberry danish pastry, meat pies, spinach and ricotta roll, cheese cake and almomd cake and the original sour dough. Obviously over 2 days. I make sour dough at home, so I know they are making it right. 5/5
What a surprise! Absolutely perfect little spot, the location the price the fit out the quality of the food Very very impressed. There's friendly staff barista coffee savory options seating and indoor bathrooms what else could you possibly ask for?? Hint: people typically spent a lot of money here because they buy multiple items like I did!
An absolute jewel in the heart of the outback, I’m in love with this place. Lovely coffee and a huge selection of pastries and breads that are nothing short of divine. A local treasure - and worth a visit for anyone passing through.
Was in Alice for a few weeks, and always looking for good pies when in AU. I found The Bakery, and was glad I did. Very tasty meat pies, with really flavorful ingredients.nnThe fresh bread looked so good there on display behind the counter that I couldn’t resist also picking up a baguette both times I was there.nnTheir coffees were spot on as well.nnA full 5 stars from me. Definitely recommend this place, and I will keep it on my list for next time I’m in town.
