We visited our local cheesecake shop today to buy a cake. The young girl provided great customer service, she was kind, polite and very helpful. The cake looks delicious and we can't wait to give it a try.
Went in to order a cheesecake for Fathers Day and the staff had no idea what to do, she said we are not taking orders. Intresting, there is a sign in the shop that says "Taking orders for Fathers Day, now" NOT HAPPY!!! If your going to put junior staff on, make sure they are trained and they know what they are doing!
Went in Tuesday said I wanted a large Candylane cake like the smaller one in the window for Friday- girl said normally needed a week for an order but would keep the smaller one if it couldn't be done - came in this morning - no one was told about my order - give us 20 minutes we will create a large one for you - the one I wanted was gone ,replaced by the most pathetic version of a cake - now I have the larger version- and they had all day to create as I said I'd come back - it's literally taken them the 20 minutes before I got there it's that BAD. Told the girl who served me had there been a change of baker ,she just ignored me and pretended to not understand. Happy 18th son ,sorry but NEVER AGAIN will I come to this store.

I had the most amazing birthday cake, i was a little bit nervous because i have never tried rainbow cake, but it was totally worth it! full of flavour, rich, creamy, moist, all things you want on a birthday cake, could not recommend it enough, thanks Cheesecake Shop Gateway!!

The staffs are always greeting and very friendly. clean and calm environment. We always get a extra topping on the cake as we request but never got charged. thank you. My son and i love your cakes!
Easy to work with getting a birthday cheesecake for my friend. It was ready on time when I arrived and very easy process
Pre order my daughters birthday cake a month ago, making sure it’s chocolate sponge as my daughter dislike vanilla payed extra for the switch too and payed a deposit. Husband goes in to pick it up the cake this morning at 9am for a party at 11am and the cake hasn’t been made. They did apologise and offer a vanilla cake and take off the extra I payed, but still payed full price. What is one to do when birthday party is in 2 hours but pay for a vanilla cake. Absolutely shattered and disgusted that no discount was offered for your stuff up. Now my daughter has a cake she will not eat on her birthday. Will never order from this shop again. And will be making sure that people are aware of your negligence
Spent $50 on a Choc mint b'day cake that looked terrible!! Nothing like what is shown on the website, hardly anything on top of it in comparison. The cake itself was delicious but when you spend that much on a cake you expect there to be some effort put into the presentation. I ended up having to spend more money on it fixing it up to make it look presentable! Very disappointing!!
