The Argus Dining Room, owned by Chris Malden & Wayne Cross, is located within the grounds of Peppers Mineral Springs Hotel, Hepburn Springs. The menu at The Argus is based on local produce supplemented with naturally grown beef, lamb, fruits and vegetables from Chris and Waynes own farm, Vale Hill.

We usually dine during lunchtime in Argus and the food is really good. Fresh local produce evrrytime. Great value lunch meals along with great atmosphere. Absolutely love the experience. Great for a romantic day out.
Loved the Feed Me menu, even better with the locals night discount! The food was all well paced and delicious. The tempura mushrooms were amazing! Nice atmosphere and great service by Eliza, best we have received in a long time : Can’t wait to return!

Lovely meal. Nice setting. Staff were great.
Not 100% sure what the fuss is about with this place. I think we had such high expectations of the food and service and it was all just a little flat. Food underwhelming and wine very overpriced. We'll try this place again sometime nearer spring/summer and update our review accordingly.
