Story

What was the Red Star Cafe for a decade has been re-vamped and re-named 'Blue Bean Cafe'. Local lad and entrepreneur, Nico Ellerby, is excited to bring you all the best bits from the beloved Red Star, adding fresh energy and all he loves to experience and share in hospitality.

Also the owner of Blue Bean Love Mobile Coffee Catering (www.facebook.com/bluebeanlove) and the driving force behind Buck Jr (www.facebook.com/buckjrsound), he endeavours to build on this vibrant community hub that has been host to local's hearts since it's doors opened. Having grown up locally, being part of sporting groups, working hospitality and as a youth worker aimed at developing enterprising ideas from Hepburn Shire's young people, you can expect nothing less than a hospice for the foundation on which our community is built where you can enjoy amazing coffee and brilliant food every day.
