Great first time 'chip shop' experience since moving to Auckland. Great ambience and friendly staff. Although it was busy I got my order in a timely fashion. Didn't quite get what I ordered but it was delicious anyways :)

Super fresh. One of the best fish and chip shops. Nice to visit before or after a walk up Mt Eden. You can take away food or sit inside to eat. The visitor book has amazing comments from people who travel a long way to come here.

Since the change in ownership I have noticed the below:
1) wait times are ridiculous. Over the phone they will tell you 45mins, it will actually take well over an hour (consistently)
2) portion sizes have halved in size within 6 months
We were regulars but after tonight’s particularly bad experience I won’t be back. A real shame...
