Tentworld is a family owned and operated business. It has been serving residents of Queensland and Australia since 1968.

Story

Tentworld is an online camping retail store with 10 physical locations. It has been in operation since 1968 supplying Australia with quality camping & hiking equipment.

We take pride in our customer service, and great value offering. We have enabled hundreds of thousands of people to have great camping holidays.

We stock a wide range of top brand names such as Blackwolf, Darche, Engel, OZtent, OZtrail & Waeco to name just a few. There are 10 retail store locations across Australia. See our website for locations.

At our stores you can find a large range of tents, swags, portable fridges and much more camping gear can be seen on display. Our experienced staff can help you with camping and product knowledge as well as product selection which is something we pride ourselves on and sets us apart from the competition.

The Tentworld website & Online store has been operating since 2003 so that all of Australia can take advantage of our excellent customer service, product knowledge and sale prices. The parking is great and staff are reasonably helpful. The store is quite dusty though. Most products are cheaper or the smarter as online. Most staff are willing to show how things work. There are lots of open box display items so you know exactly what you're getting. Tentworld have their own line of products which are great quality and extremely good value for money. They even have things that most big brands don't even offer. I would highly reccomend as long as you are not easily allergic to dust. As it is a shed style building and depIte the staffs best cleaning efforts there is often dust.
Be careful, if you purchase something and it breaks they will not honor the products they sell....terrible customer service....nnPS. They make these responses putting it back onto the customer. Wanted me to mail the item back before refunding. It would have cost as much as the purchase price. The return process involves a ph interview, that they failed to make....n...I have a chair that's also broken but they make returns and warranty impossible....I'll never buy from tentworld again.
Rebecca was of great assistance when I had called to confirm that a product was in stock. Rebecca kindly put the product aside for me so a family member could collect later that day. Thank you for the great service!
Asked if they price match and yes they do saved me a trip elsewhere. They are friendly and helpful. A great place to shop.
Excellent, efficient customer service. I was able to ring up, had an item put aside for me and was able to pick up in the evening after work - thanks to their long opening hours. Fantastic easy parking.
