Tendercare offers a wide range of laundry services; public laundromat, commercial laundry & an environmentally safer alternative to dry cleaning.

Story

Tendercare's public customers use our large capacity front loading washing machines to save time, money and energy. Fully serviced options are also available and Tendercare is always fully staffed.
We provide commercial laundry services for motels, lodges, B&Bs, restaurants, medical centres and hospitals.
We have an alternative system to dry cleaning which is environmentally safer and allows us to clean drycleanable garments without the use of harsh chemicals.

Great service this week. We had a large bag of laundry about 6kg, and we had a service wash, including folding, for a very good price. Dropped off before 9 and collected before 6 the same day. Would recommend.
We took our laundry for a wash, dry and fold. Linda was super helpful and sweet. She even recognized me when I returned for pick up. The clothes were completely taken care of and with special care. Would definitely recommend!!
Stopped by here to do some self service laundry and while it’s not the cheapest place, it’s a very nice one. Modern and fast machines in a very clean facility with a small waiting area and washrooms. They can sell you detergent or do full service as well. Ran about $12.50 NZD for a small laundry wash and dry. Tip: Talk to the front desk attendant to pay, it’s not an automated facility.
Large dryers did not heat up properly on high heat function. Smaller dryers were better.
It was a nice and clean place. Staff was friendly. A little on the expensive side.
Excellent service, very helpful and friendly staff. Clean and tidy space. Automatic doors at front entrance are helpful when carrying large loads of washing in without wanting to drop everything to open the door
Can leave clothes to dry go across to Profiles for 50min workout.
Good service for general home laundry, wash, dry and fold, paid $28 for 5kgs, which is probably more than I've ever paid before but I was on holiday and didn't care
I’ve had the pleasure of visiting a few laundries throughout New Zealand and this one is my favourite! the staff are incredibly nice, extremely helpful in the place is clean! Top Marks - thank you!
