This store is a glowing example of the future and how customers are perceived and treated. The contemptuous approach to customer service is appalling. I was in the store for approximately 10 minutes witnessed by more than five staff members none of which made any effort to approach me, with the exception of one whom under much sufferance approached me . After i elicited my problem he quite abruptly told me that he could do nothing to solve the issue and offered only to direct me to the phone repair shop or buy a new phone, the problem was very superficial and one which I had experienced before with an easy fix although according to the expertise of Telstra the phone problem was my problem. The problem was that phone had received some water intrusion and refused to dry out enough to charge, recalling my experience from last time i simply resolved the issue by drying it out with an artificial heat source and then applied the necessary charger and said problem went away. Times have changed from those many months ago and it would seem the manager of Telstra Store seemed unaware of this simple process and instead jumped on the first available lilly pad, opting instead to try and convince me that the phone was indeed cactus and required a replacement . As I arrived home with my phone in my pocket I thought I would try one more time and i am pleased to announce that hooray for common sense it works. Telstra please apply more diligence when employing staff.
Bought a new Telstra TV, greeted at the entrance by the Concierge, and guided to a booth and introduced to Ricky. Service was very good and friendly, would recommend Telstra to anyone.

Worst service… guy greeting was dismissive and invaded my personal space - with covid I thought we didn’t stand so close. Was told 30/40 minute wait. Waited an hour and ended up sitting out front of the shop to wait. Saw the lady who was in front of me finished being served - woohoo great I’m up. Took a customer who walked in and served straight away - they saw me waiting out the front. I left & they phoned and acknowledge they did that and just said “so are you coming back or not” when I said what do you think he just hung up on me! I’ll go elsewhere and contemplating cancelling all my services with them.
Worst service and store I’ve ever experienced. Will close Telstra account and move to another provider. Optus store in same centre was very helpful.
Waited an hour to spend time with an assistant to clarify my direct debit transactions . 5 minutes with a ‘helper’.....to be told.... ‘I thinks it’s sorted come back if there’s a problem’ Walked out ..... still no clarity. Try the alternative.... talk to a machine on the phone.... Still no clarity . This company is appalling

Woman on front door reception seemed uninterested, left with problem unresolved, expect half hour wait/call back at least
I have called the Maryborough store on 4 occasions, left messages and noone calls me back. The staff instore are however always polite and extremely helpful. I just don't understand why noone calls me back. If someone reads this review I would appreciate a call back. All my details are in your POS system. Thank you.
