My wife made me cry in this store one time while we were still together. All I wanted was a new tv but she started screaming at me how we don't have the funds to buy anything because of the fact that I spent all of our money on booze.nnLovely store though with great customer service and good stock.

I love the staff at this store. They are all so friendly and helpful.nnIt WOULD be a five star review, but the fact that it is in a shopping centre that has placed the smoking areas at the entrances, making customers walk through a shroud of cigarette smoke is ridiculousnnStation Square is a joke. There have been complaints about the smoking areas being placed in the entrances for decades, and, typical of Maryborough, they do nothing, because it doesn't negative impact their profits.nnSo, sorry Big W Maryborough... Even though you have wonderful staff special mention to Jason, who goes out of his way for his customers, I would rather go to Hervey Bay

Would like to advise of a breakdown in process regarding car to boot delivery from my perspective. I tapped on link as requested in message to say I was on my way, then again when I arrived and parked. The link stated a staff member had received message and would be with me shortly. I waited 20 minutes and then had to find the store number to ring, another 10 minutes to locate this. Phone answered and staff member appeared with my parcel. Staff member polite and apologised. I asked whether I had to press the out side buzzer when I arrived and she said yes. However the sign above the buzzer stated store deliveries. I did see this sign and found it confusing and did not press it simply because the link on my phone had told me staff member had already been notified. I would just like to suggest a clearer process, whether it is through the link or by signage at collection point. Thank you

Smaller store than the city versions but it has a great selection of everything from lollies to clothes, shoes and tools etc.

Well stocked store, had everything I needed.
