OK, the photos I have put with this is not of the shop. But they are using the lens I purchased at the shop. Sadly, this is now our closest Ted's and it is a long way away for me. But this just means it is a journey with a result. The service was excellent and the staff are very knowledgeable. Very happy to go again. The lens purchased was to be used on our Canon 80D, but it is also being used on the Canon M50 as well, and this was because of the great advice we got from the staff at this store. Thanks peeps, see you next time.
Great service with knowledgeable staff. Happy with purchased products. I have recently gone in and made several purchases. A Canon L series 70-200 zoom lens, a waterproof camera, a camera for my little one and a tripod. Each time they have provided me with the answers on product that I have had and recommended the right product for my requirements. The level of service and knowledge is high.
Went here to get a passport photo for newborn. I said good morning how are you to Rick, who fully ignored me. So I waited until a young gentleman named Callam came from behind to serve me. Snapped about a dozen pictures of newborn. The one he said was acceptable, I did not think it would pass. I asked him to take done more pictures. Callam said if it does not meet requirements you can come back and we will take more pictures for free. I said it defeats the purpose you mailing a passport away in the first place. Also they don’t stock the stickers required to put on the back of the passport if your sending a passport by post. Had to go to the post office to pick these up. No matter how much you spend, customers are customers and deserve customer service. Maybe if I was spending more money I would of got a hello??
Staff are not only incredibly welcoming, but also put in the effort to ensure I got the products I wanted at a fantastic price, while being knowledgeable about the products they were selling. Highly recommended.
I very rarely write reviews, but Ricky definitely gave me one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a very long time. He spent close to 40 minutes explaining everything I needed to know and even closed permanently the shop later then usual because of me. What a service, what a gentleman!
Rick helped me in locating a second hand lense for a comfortable price! He was great As I went to pick up the lense however I witnessed Callum at Greensborough completely ignore an elderly couple who wanted to print photos and they ended up leaving the store upset. Nobody appreciates seeing that. Won't be returning purely because of this! He stated that I was a more valuable customer but he had no clue why I was there, he instead said thank god theyre gone as they exited.
I am given incredibly amazing service by the staff here! I am a regular at their store and the people there recognise me and my gear, I will only ever go to this store for repairs or to buy things. I trust them with my gear and the way they handle all the issues my camera has had. Only issue I have ever had with Cannon is the head office in Sydney. They had my camera in for repair for nearly 3 months without a word of information, just about thought they lost it. I couldn’t work because I wasn’t given a temporary replacement!!
Just wanted to drop a note of thanks to the team at Ted's Cameras in Greensborough. We went in with a 1995 Canon EOS 650 that had a technical problem with it and was expecting to hear that the camera will need to be sent away for servicing at great expense. However, we were delighted when the manager was able to fix the camera on the spot at no charge! Great customer service and excellent knowledge of film cameras!! So delighted with the outcome! Thank you again for your service, we will be back to process our film!
