The Crossing is amazing. It literally has everything you need, all in one place (banking, supermarket, hairdressers, stationery, eateries etc.) - and eventually there'll be a huge cinema and shopping mall in 2019 (possibly 2020 if there's delays?) I think The Lakes will be THE PLACE to live in Tauranga once everything has finished being built at The Crossing. Great place to be. Literally has all your needs, and is very central as there are highways leading to all the main places in Tauranga (CBD, The Mount, etc.). Very handy.

It's a reasonably good strip mall. Everything is very new. A bit of walking is required, as is usual for malls with a long string of stores around a car parking area. I prefer enclosed malls, but if you're going to have an open one, then do it like this. 

It's very nicely done. Plus they have 4 free chargers for electric cars. :-);

Easy good flow and because the roundabouts are big it helps with not waiting too long
