Spacious facility with a variety of pools at different temperatures. The staff are friendly and prices are reasonable. Only 4 stars because of hygiene, a toilet was blocked and the private pool had chewing gum on the walls and lots of hair in the pool.
Good place to be soaked in. The water has some debris just like DeBretts?? I believe most of the water here comes from underground, but a mixture of potable water is also there. I can smell the residue chlorine. A water park also present.
A slight downhill walk. Relaxing environment for family. We booked the private spa for 45mins @$48. There is a cold shower in the private spa for a hot and cold session.
Great place for families to relax and enjoy the naturally heated geothermal mineral pools. Water temp is kept at about 38 - 40 degrees... we went during winter and it was just perfect. The Hydroslide is a few dollars extra but kids loved it. Your ticket allows you to leave the park and return at night which was great. Highly recommended.
Booked motorhome in for the night, plugged into power . Strolled around the park taken photo's. A very will manicured park . Went out for dinner on the way back the entrance way and park looked very magical . Have 1st class toilets , showers , laundry and kitchen. Ev charger on site and recycle bins . 2 dump stations plus fresh water available .
Been taking my children here for years, now I'm taking my grandchildren who just love it. It's still as magical now as it was 20 years ago.
Nice hot pools, large and smaller pools to use..walk down a slope to get there from the cat park. Adults $26 each standard entry fee.
Pretty cool place for the kids, unfortunately it's pretty run down, the "green" mineral pool was just so full of debris and stuff floating in the pool it was concerning. We tried out the "private" pools more like spa pool but I'm sure a jail cell is nicer than in inside of those things. One pool was out of order and also one of the water slides also out of order. The children's water park play area was really cool and the other pool was relatively clean looking. This place has a lot of potential but needs some serious work.
Nice little hot pools in a very beautiful location down the hill. There were kids pool as well. Slides looked pretty cool. There were restrictions on the slides for both height and weight. I have really enjoyed with my family and kids really loved the place. Tickets can be purchased online or at the reception as well. There were some few more dollars to go into the slides. I would highly recommend this place for the families. Just 4 to 5 minutes drive from Taupo city center.
Had a nice dip at their hot pools! Very good temperature heated pools. Lots of toilet and changing room and storage for your stuff… had a dryer for Your clothes which is super cool! They have good slide For kids. Just the right number of pools.
