The Taranaki piano workshop is a private piano teaching studio. David offers one to one lessons on Piano from Beginners to University level.

Story

The Taranaki Piano Workshop is a Music Teaching Studio in central New Plymouth run by David Lilley. David offers one to one lessons on Piano from Beginners to University level. Classical or Jazz. He also tutors Music Theory which is such an important part for any school going student taking NCEA Music.

David can coach students with written NCEA projects as he is an ex HOD Music from a local school. For Jazz musicians David has created a system of MP3 backtracks to practice with that can be used for any instrument. He also offers Jazz tuition to advanced jazz students on any melodic instrument as well. David is an ex trumpet player and offers tuition on trumpet to advanced students only.

The Taranaki Piano Workshop is a place where students learn to play in an atmosphere that is fun, engaging and innovative with an experienced professional teacher who is also a regular performer in the public arena.

David teaches on a Steinway Grand Piano tuned exclusively by Graham from Piano Works New Plymouth.

At the Taranaki Piano Workshop we work collaboratively to re-inforce a feeling of individual success, and expression through music.
