Really tasty food with the dumplings being the star of the show. Freshly made, cooked to perfection and really good value - what more could you ask for? It’s quickly become a staple restaurant that I’ll definitely keep visiting in the future.
Best dumplings in the town. Best indifferent serving staff in the town too. Specifically the girl who paid no attention whatsoever either for taking our order or to respond to our queries or while serving to us. If this restaurant improves on service then I have no doubt it will have people queuing outside. Maybe that's something that the owners do not want. Who knows! Food: - sizzling chicken was delicious. The sound of the sizzle and the blue flame underneath the serving container adds to the flavour. - pork ribs were simply gorgeous. I can still feel their taste. Not because I haven't brushed or showered in days, but because they were absolutely delicious. Although, the sprinkled salt was a bit overdone. - veg dumplings don't need an expression for their goodness. These guys make them fresh and you taste that freshness. - crispy chicken was good. No complaints. There is plenty of parking in the vicinity.
Went there last Friday night the 5th of Aug with group of friends. Food: Order chicken and Prown dumpling and chicken sizzling with rice. Food was absolutely beautiful. Price: Prices are not too bad and drink menu is ok. Place : Only down side was they didn’t have big table and if you are group of 10 or more it’s better to call them in advance to check if they have any big table available. Parking: lots of parking available near by. Other that that I will go back to try their other options in the menu.
Good place, the food was very nice. Price range was also good. The only down was there was no salt on the table and when I asked staff to have some salt they brang a salt shaker but then they asked me to give it back to them as soon as I used it and we couldn't keep the salt on the table. It was a bit strange for me that they didn't have enough salt for tables? Or was it some other reasons they didn't let we keep the salt at table. But regardless of that, it is good place, recommend to try. Parking: Shopping center carpark, usually available free spaces
Tugged away in the back carpark, a rare gem in Camberwell. A surprisingly good Chinese restaurant that has been well thought out in terms of architecture, decorations, prices, and the quality of food. Sure it's geared towards non Chinese and Asians a like. But their food is just universally good.Food: 5/5
The restaurant is cozy, not quite spacious given the rather small space between tables and chairs. During weekend, it's very crowded, you should reserve a table in advance, but waiting is not too long either. I haven't tried out many on the menu. Nonetheless, the dumplings are fresh and delicious. You should definitely try the crab meat and corn soup on a cold winter day as well.
Just popped down for lunch with my wife and brother-in-law. Moved to the area recently and saw this place looked good. The restaurant presents really well. Food looked great on the menu. Waited a while and no one came over to take our order so I went and found someone. Waiter didn't say a word while taking our order which I thought was odd but he took it and left. We waited 40 minutes without anything arriving so I went over to check and they told me their system was down and there was a delay. The table next to us ordered after us, received their food, ate, finished and left without issue though.They then told us it wouldn't be long. Waited another 15 minutes and still nothing. My wife and her brother needed to leaveb to be on time for their so we checked again and they said the food was still 10 minutes away. We all needed to leave now and it had been close to an hour since ordering. No apology or care for the fact we waited so long. Really poor customer service. I'm sure the food would taste good though if they ever get around to making your order.
Wow!!! First-time to buy from this restaurant and it sure didn’t disappoint! The fact the place was quite busy speaks volumes of how good their food is. I ordered pan-fried pork dumplings and Yang Zhou Fried Rice and it was delicious. Now I know where to buy lunch whenever I am in the office…and where to buy dinner from on the way home. Nice ambience inside and takeaway was reasonably quick.
I love the pan fried dumplings there and the fried rice is always delicious as well. The attention is terrible though, pretty rude in the way to answer. Would be nice if they show up more friendly
Great local dumpling restaurant in Hawthorn. Have had both dine in & take away and the quality is great. Delicious dumplings but also good main dishes. Always busy so book ahead. This place is always busy
