The Tandoori Place is Queensland's number 1 Indian Restaurant for many consecutive years and has been established since 1984 by restaurateur Surjit Dhillon.

Surjit's aim is to serve authentic Indian home style cooking and to prove that Indian cuisine can be as delicately balanced as any of the world's greatest cuisines.

Very very poor service of the staff....staff showing disrespect to the customers..serving less stuff than what is ordered..and later arguing with even about their own said words.. Totally dissatisfied

Just experienced the flavors from our land here, right at the heart of Australia. When this restaurant was mentioned by a common friend we thought it to be another food joint promising Indian food in the name of anything but real Indian food. We were delightfully surprised!! It is the best place till date, out of India, where we tasted authentic Indian food. Are you missing the fun? Land here for exotic food and get hypnotized by its tastes and aroma.

The best part of this restaurant it that the restaurant has a special childrens’ menu. Whenever we went out for dinning, my kids ate the food we ate, there were spicy and my kids adjusted with the food taste. But at The Tandoori Place, the scenario was completely different. My kids just loved the Crunchy Fish Fingers, the Seafood Basket and Tasty Mango Chicken among other dishes in their special menu. It’s really awesome to see them make special preparations for children

We enjoyed the food as well as the ambience. The staff helped us pick the right dishes. Variety is what I loved about Tandoori Place. Awesome service. Kudos!

Worst experience in 15 years I had living in Australia, mosquito filled place, super rude staff forced us to leave without even having our mains.... stay away guys if u don’t want to spoil ur time here in Gold Coast
