The counselling at this pharmacy Is drastically above industry norms. A lot of pharmacies will bag and wrap and hand you your meds and say “That will be $35, thanks have a great day.” Takanini Urgent Pharmacy takes an obvious holistic approach to healthcare and leaves you thinking your healthcare doesn’t just stop at the doctors office. And for the most part for free Unfortunately across the entire healthcare sector there have been staffing constraints and lack of funding which impacts the operating abilities. I can gladly say this pharmacy have not let there standards drop even in the current environment. Unfortunately their hours have had to change, on the contrary to other opinions I believe this has been done adequately. I have worked in pharmacy for 7 years. I have worked at this pharmacy in the past on a casual basis and can confidently tell you that they practise significantly above industry standard; to the point I continue to use them as my preferred pharmacy. Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are only people at the end of the day. They have good and bad days. If you have complaints maybe try and directly address them with the pharmacy rather than post online you may find it’s more constructive.
Their opening hours online and on their own doors dont even match when theyre open. Definitely a "gentleman's hours" pharmacy. Not an urgent care pharmacy. If you say you're open Mon - Sun until 8pm. Be open. Terrible.
Had the best consultation ever. The lady was totally amazing. I've been to a few Chemist if they ask a question I always give the same answer. There is never a reply until today. I will definitely listen to what she said. Thank you.

Have been using them in the past 5 years, the customer service used to be excellent. Today I had worst customer service ever, will never want to go back here.
Not helpful at all
We love this pharmacy especially because of their customer service skills. Yuy has been exceptional in her communication and customer handling skills. Really like the long hours it is open for, gives flexibility for people who work longs hours. It also has free prescriptions, who doesn't like that : Highly recommend this pharmacy if you are looking for one or what to make a change. You will love it as we do :
Great friendly and helpful staff. Knew me by name, after a few visits. Greet you when you walk in the door. Amazing customer service. Open late every night. Free prescriptions. Highly recommended.
They were amazing to deal with and provided such great customer care. Also an added bonus, as it turns out they do free prescriptions and was kind enough to explain to me how this system works. I highly recommend this place
Says on Google and writen on the main doors, op until 8pm, 7days and week including public holidays. We just walked here, its Sunday 5.45pm and its closed. No updates on Google, no sign to say why. Should remove the word "Urgent" from the name.
