Always loved this hotel. Amazing grounds and location. Rooms are much improved since refurbishment Service has always been great and if there was a problem, they rectified quickly. Don't like that they only provided 3 towels and not 4 but Housekeeping came to give another one. Wait can be a little delayed for Housekeeping requests or room service due to expansive space of the resort. We stayed in room 555 facing the golf course which was new to us. Wasn't bad but not the best. Better if you request rooms facing the lagoon pool or the marina. Overall still enjoyed my short stay and will come keep coming back.
Beautiful hotel very elegant and classy. Rooms were charming and comfortable. Lagoon pool was beautiful and indoor lounge/restaurant had lovely cocktails and setting to relax. Only wish the pool bar/restaurant would open sooner and buggy rides to the room were free. Quick access to marina literally 2 min walk and good food options highly recommend Georges seafood.
I was only there fir a shirt while but they had very high standards. House keeping was made sure thay all had uniforms. I worked housekeeping for a short while. And they make sure your not home knocking 2 times announcing themselves and they make sure you are fully stocked. There was a huge pool it was right in a nice location. I loved the look of the place it reminds me of a 1920s hotel mixed with a Victorian era furniture vibe. Thanks for the free meal as a staff member its the least I can do to write this small thank you.
The food was amazing,the room was great, nice and cold when we arrived. The best service of my life definitely making this an annual stay and don't get me started on the breakfast so yummy I nearly fainted of a tummy ache on how delicious it was and the lagoon was so nice feels like you're on your own private beach. Also the staff here are lovely and very helpful.
Stayed here for our honeymoon! Absolutely beautiful, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was amazing as was the restaurant. Definitely returning! Also loved the buggy rides on the super hot days. Makes all the difference
I have recently returned from an amazing 3-night stay at the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort as part of a retreat that I arranged for my business. Our group had the most amazing weekend at the resort and were so impressed with the luxury rooms, great facilities and cocktails! The location is so quiet and peaceful with kangaroos roaming around the resort. A huge thank you to the lovely staff and in particular Edgar, such a friendly man who was so attentive to our group. I look forward to returning again.
Just returned from a week away of rnr and had such a great time. The property is huge and so pretty… refreshing swims in the lagoon pool and the grounds are great for walks too. Loved seeing the kangaroos everyday. Fantastic buffet breakfast and poolside food and drink option added to the experience. Easy stroll to restaurants for dinner, taking in the river views on the way. All staff was always smiling and helpful. Shout out particularly to Lisa at breakfast and Ann. Felt really spoilt here and would love to visit again. The resort is as pretty in real life as it is in pictures.
The rooms were large and well maintained and the grounds were expansive and relaxing. Most of all the staff were excellent. Nothing was a problem, super friendly with great tourist advice. Absolutely recommend this resort for your next Gold Coast holiday.Rooms: 5/5
Our stay was fantastic. The suite we stayed in was spacious, clean and nicely presented. The staff at the InterContinental are very professional, polite and helpful. We had our wedding here as well. Our wedding coordinator, Sophie was incredible. She was so helpful, organised, nothing was a hassle and she made our day flow so smoothly. We had so many complaints from family and friends about how great Sophie was.
We came here for the 22/23 New Year seafood buffet. The food was quite ordinary tasting and there wasn't much seafood, other than prawns and oysters. There was no crabs, squid or lobster. Deserts were bland. You had to pay extra for the drinks and there was no water on the tables. There was no music or any entertainment. I was expecting much more for the price we paid. The hotel looks nice though.
