The tool looks very convincing, but it’s not genuine – no serial number, and build quality is questionable.nnThis is not a complaint about Total Tools — quite the opposite: it reminds me how important it is to buy from trusted retailers like them. Just sharing this experience so others don’t fall into the same trap.nnIf you’re after real Milwaukee tools with warranty and quality assurance, stick to authorised sellers like Total Tools.nnHope this helps someone avoid a mistake I made.
After 3 weeks waiting for an online order to be delivered, made up of stock that was available at time of purchase, a phone call revealed 1 item was out of stock, so nothing had been sent. but after my call some of my order was posted and only took 1 day to arrive.nI only purchased online because it wasn't in stock locally and it doesn't seem very honest to sell stock they don't have.n2 week later I phoned to chase up the rest of my order and was told it had just come back in stock. It was posted the next day.nIt seems like they don't post an order until you phone up to complain.
Poor service. Phoned twice to chase up my outstanding order, each time staff promise to call me back that day or next day. The staff don't phone you back to follow up! So you have to keep calling them multiple times to eventually find out the order wasn't even dispatched by the supplier and was only dispatched after me chasing them up after over 2 week delay. So I'm still waiting for my order.
I recently visited this place to purchase a tool, and while the products might be fine, the customer service left a lot to be desired. I witnessed the manager being extremely rude and dismissive toward a customer who came in for a warranty-related issue. It was uncomfortable to watch, and it gave the impression that they don't value customers after a sale is made. Based on this experience, I don’t feel confident about buying from here again, especially if support or service is ever needed. I would recommend considering other options where customer care is taken more seriously.
A bit disappointed with the advice I was given. Came in to buy a generator, Gensafe G95i2, was told that I could connect it to my switch board. It was pointed out that the person serving me was not an electrician, so they couldn't give me advice on how to do it. Asked my neighbour who's a qualified electrician to help me connect it, only to be told that this particular model couldn't be, because of its safety switch. The G45i2 could be connected to a switch board, not the G95i2. Which is disappointing. Even if the staff aren't qualified electricians, you'd expect them to know their product.The generator is full of fuel and oil now and I need it, so I have no choice but to use it by running leads from it.nOther than that the staff were very friendly.
