Very clean. Clear directions. Train service is quick.
On May 3, 2024, my wife and I got our Opal cards and walked here with our baggage within minutes to take the train to the Wynyard station. The train fares around A$40 for two persons can be more expensive than taking Uber.
Profit driven airport, leading to customer disappointment. For starters, slow service counter at the airport, the queue is almost not moving. To just weight your luggage you need to pay $2 to weigh 1 luggage. The washroom are badly maintained, and the service crews are not wearing their mask proper, if they gonna wear their mask without covering the nose, might as well don’t wear? I’m not trying to be mean.. but it’s just facts. Anyway the 1 star is for the profit driven airport service, huge disappointment after such an lovely trip. Bad way to end a holiday.
If you are travelling from Sydney CBD the train is quick. If you are more than one person and not in a hurry try and take a bus. The fare is $20.45 so if you are a family look at other means to get you to the airport. The station is clean and there are plenty of trains from CBD. I feel it is a little or a lot overpriced considering you only spend minutes there considering you can train your way to the Southern Highlands for less than $10.
Prompt and polite security checkin service with comfortable sitting areas. Good views throughout the terminal for some plane spotting!
