i love the flower markets! make sure you get there nice and early as some stalls close at around 6-7, pro tip is to avoid going on saturday as they're usually just filled with older flowers to sell to the general public.

Flowers are cheap! I recommend keeping walking around and deciding once you’ve seen everything. If you're planning to buy a lot, make sure you have a car or Uber/Didi to get back home, because it’ll be hard to carry them on the train—unless you’re prepared for it. You’ll find more options early in the morning, and they close around 11ish. They have sales around that time, but only on flowers that are close to wilting. Wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty because there’s spilled water on the floor. There’s also a toilet, and it's clean. If this were closer to my house, I would come here every Saturday lol

Love going to the flower market got $400-500 worth of flowers for $95 . If you have an occasion or party on and don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on flowers get to the Sydney flower market. Make sure you bring cash in small bills you will find you get through a lot quicker . Opens at 5am but if you head there on a Saturday and are no picky about the type of flowers you want I would go around 8.30-9am to get some real bargains. I took mine home and wrapped them up myself for gifts

If you are planning a function with flowers, you need to consider a visit to the Sydney Flower Markets first. The florists mostly buy from here and the range is simply breathtaking. When you walk in, very early in the morning is the best time to visit, it is super busy, but you will be overwhelmed with colour and range of flowers. It is free to park on Saturdays but for the $11 normal parking for the midweek, you will save that on your first purchase of flowers. Don't expect shop service, this is a market where you may need to haggle a bit if buying enough of anything, but such an adventure.
