Very good place with fresh fruits and vegetables at cheap prices, but only cash payment is accepted
I went around 1 pm. on Saturday and was able to buy things for less than the listed prices. They close promptly at 2 p.m., so you need to get in before then. You can get fresh, high-quality fruits and vegetables at discounted prices if you go just before closing. Parking is $2 now, which wasn’t the case before.
Great place to buy fruits, veggies, flowers and seafood.nLots of selection. Some with unbeatable prices.nIt gets very busy! Best to get there very early.
This place is huge. There is plenty of fruit and vegetables and at the cheapest price I've ever seen.nThe $2 parking fee is affordable, and it is for a whole day of parking. Parking was great. I could easily get a spot. I'd recommend a trolley because you end up with a lot to carry otherwise.nThe only downfall was that it's not updated yet and only has cash. As most people don't use cash, including myself, i couldn't buy everything I wanted since I didn't have much cash on me. I was told that the whole place will be updated to card over the next couple of years. So, for now, dont forget to take cash.
Flemington Paddy's Market is one of the largest wholesale market in Sydney. Great variety of fresh fruits and vegetables are best quality and reasonable price from farm sellers and not go through middle person. Also seafood and cured meat are here as fresh and the price is better. The another section where you would get everything of general goods like flowers, books, kids clothes, toys,electricals items etc.The market is open early morning and close at 2 pm on Saturday. Best day to visit on Saturday as the presence is more. Mainly payments were in cash so keep coins and dollars.nThe entire market is under cover. Spacious parking area and toilet facilities available.
