Bought a car 6 months ago and have had nothing but problems. The mechanic I have been going to has confirmed that the car was not in fact roadworthy after I bought it, despite buying it with an apparent road worthy certificate. I have spent a little over $4000 on repairs that shouldn’t have been there on a car I have just bought. Really disappointed with this outcome and wish I never bought the car.

Being my first experience with a car sales and service team, there have been a few ups and downs but they have been there to help and support, never felt any pressure and would recommend them .

We recently bought a Used Car from Swan Hill Automotive given we live in Melbourne we took a punt buying it sight unseen but the sales team were very accomodating and honest when it came to discussing the car we purchased. After we returned to Melbourne with the car I had reason to take the vehicle in for some additional items I wanted done. In the process our mechanic found some Roadworthy items that needed attending to. After discussion with Neville the Service Manager at Swan Hill they agreed to pay for the items no questions asked. There was genuine care from the team to ensure we were happy with the car and with the service from them. I could not fault their customer service.

I initially saw the car on Carsales being in Melbourne 4-5 hrs away I dealt with two absolute gentlemen in Jeffrey and Dave who were extremely helpful in the extra photos walkarounds and additional information on the car but also offered and payed for my whole family 6 of us accommodation and cooked breakfast. The car drove faultlessly back home and I would be more than happy dealing and recommending these guys to anyone.

EXCEED EXPECTATIONS! If only all car dealers operated like this crew. From initial enquiry they called back within a minute, openly answered questions, I immediately felt at ease. We purchased vehicle  sight unseen, was relying on the information and photos provided, and not only was all the information accurate the vehicle condition exceeded my expectations. They say you can't beat country towns for honesty and real service, well that is a fact with these guys, Michael the GM met me at agreed time he was highly organised, welcoming, full tank of fuel, and car immaculate, I felt immediately at ease and had a smile all the way home 4.5 hours not only because I love the car but these guys made it the most wonderful no nonsense experience. FIRST CLASS OPERATORS HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Jason is a fantastic person to deal with, very hands on for a general manager.  He took my call in the middle of the night due to the timezone difference I am from Perth and answered all my queries. I ended up going to a local Holden dealer only for them to screw me over on the price. They agreed on a drive away price with me over the phone and then told me it was not driveaway when I was there to sign. Hindsight is a fantastic thing, I did wish that I went with Jason 3000kms away instead.

Before you read on - just go to Swan Hill Automotive and ask for Jason! An absolutely amazing, knowledgeable man, who takes pride in his team, himself and is passionate about making sure you are looked after and number one throughout the whole process!  On Wednesday my husband and I decided we were going to look at a new car for him. We had been to other dealerships previously in the region and never again would we go there.  We decided to look at a used car for purchase at Swan Hill Automotive for Angus and see what we could get for his current car. Upon arrival, we meet with Jason and explained our family dynamics and what we where looking for.  Jason introduced us to Jeff, again - another amazing staff member, who took us through the yard and let us browse at our leisure. We weren’t harassed or followed which we had previously encountered elsewhere, so this was a great start.  They valued Angus’s car and I said “well while you are at it, value mine too”. Not only did I throw a curve ball at them, but I put them on the spot - and nothing was a big deal. They where more than happy to value my car even though I hadn’t expressed interest in any other vehicle.  Further down the line, we decided on getting two vehicles that day. My kids where looked after, treated just as adults buying a car would, Jeff and Jason where absolutely fantastic and gave us the best they could on both cars both trading and buying and everyone else within the process was polite, inviting and friendly.  Today, in 24 hours, contracts are signed, Everyone is happy - we have two new cars in our driveway, and I cannot thank Jason, Jeff and the rest of the team for accommodating our family enough. Your assistance and service will not be forgotten and we will be returning in future and referring as many people to you as we possibly can - because this wasn’t a sale, this wasn’t the everyday deal - THIS WAS OLD FASHIONED SERVICE and it was remarkable!

I would prefer to rate this business a 5+ Stars because of my TOTAL SATISFACTION with the whole service which I have experienced today. It all starts from the first point of contact till the delivery service of my car which we bought recently from them. The team is an absolute pleasure to deal with. They deliver their promise. I called them for an appointment to fix few things with the car and it was a hassle free experience. They asked me what was my preferred pick up time and they called me half an hour earlier than scheduled time to inform me it was ready. Thank you team for not just meeting customer’s needs but exceeding it. It was a wow factor.  I am so lucky to deal with this business.  Well done !
