The sushi felt super fresh when ordered. I'd recommend looking at the menu and letting the server know what you'd like. Food comes faster and fresher. Albeit a large part is the conveyor belt experience. There were not as many people the time we went, so belt food was limited, for good reason. Staff was really helpful and nice though.
Amazing, yet unassuming, Sushi Train restaurant. My partner loves sushi and thoroughly enjoyed it. Even as a vegetarian, I really loved the food and staff were very friendly. Definitely a must try when in Cairns!

Must visit in Cairns! The best sushi I've had. Such great service, made right in front of you. Have been to this place many times and cannot recommend highly enough. We get the large katsu rice bowls and they're so delicious
I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. On one hand, the food we ordered was fantastic. On the other hand, the food off the sushi train was dry and chewy. We ended up ordering most of our dishes, but you have to be careful about what you order because one dish they just handed to us from the sushi train, and it had dry rice and cucumber. The restaurant should limit the amount of food on the train, or have sessions to ensure the food on the conveyor is fresh.
The food was really fresh and delicious. Especially the Salmon Bowls, it smells really good. And the No.1 Special Salmon Parmesan is amazing as well. The Pink Lady was recommended by waiter is also yummy. People is kind and wonderful service.
