Cute little place but very ordinary food to the extent that half our table left most of their small main as it was inedible. Rubbery octopus, cold, pasty whitebait and the $28 Moroccan eggplant was a bland 1/2 eggplant...expected a lot more. Inexperienced wait staff didn’t help.

It looks so lovely... Cute. Nice ambiance and decor. We both looked at each other when our meals arrived. My husbands $34 steak was small and just that. 6 steamed beans on top. My barramundi was the same and very tough with 3 slices of tomato ..$35 Very overpriced for what you get . It’s a shame because as I said it looks inviting. Local produce is advertised and candles on the table to boot ..hoping it improves its game because it has potential... and the waitresses could do with more personality .. Overall disappointed especially when we’re visitors.

Great Value for money, great wine and possibly the best steak and blue cheese sauce I've had. If you're tossing up between branching out to here for dinner,  highly recxomend, you will not be dissapointed!

Magnificent food and the owners have the best Customer Service my wife and I have ever had. 2 nights in Newcastle and 2 visits for food. Great ambiance

Quite, neat, well furnished, clean. Delicious food, moderately priced. Set dessert menu. Seats 30. Highly recommended.

Wow where do these delicious cheeses come from?! Great intimate dining with professional staff. Great date night

The steak with gruyere cheese was delicious but $10 for 4 slices of bread and butter is overpriced.

Excellent food, very good service, good location. Really recommend the small plates.

Definately worth a visit,  great food,  great staff  especially the bearded one
