I had a very disappointing experience at the Supercheap Auto in Morayfield. I went there because I needed a trolley that I could use immediately and at a reasonable price. I asked the salesperson for a ready-to-use trolley, and they directed me to a section where I could choose one.nnI picked out my trolley, paid for it, and then realized it wasn’t actually usable right away. It needed to be assembled and the tires weren’t inflated. When I pointed this out, they sent me to another area to get help from their colleagues. I waited a long time, and then when someone finally came, they told me I’d have to buy a separate hand pump to inflate the tires myself if I wanted to use the trolley immediately.nnI went back to the original salesperson and told them this was unacceptable, since I’d asked for a trolley ready for immediate use. I didn’t think it was right that I had to buy an extra pump on top of the trolley. They just calmly told me that’s how it is, and if I didn’t want it, they would refund me. In the end, they gave me my money back, but the whole experience was a hassle.nnI feel sorry for the owner of Supercheap because they’ve invested so much in this big store, but it seems like customer service and the customer’s convenience aren’t priorities for them. It’s disappointing.
No longer my go to for ANYTHING luckily there is a REPCO close by.nMultiple products incorrectly tagged for price or discount.nStaff knowledge of spares and parts is not as high as you would expect for an Auto store.nStaff are pleasant but don't seem to have a passion for Auto, well that's my experience on several occasions
I hate to be one of those people leaving reviews, especially because I work in customer service myself and know reviews rarely affect the actual workers. But I feel like people should be aware of the manager and her attitudennYesterday I bought a set of seat covers. I put them on my seats and immediately realised they didn’t fit properly and I didn’t like how they looked. I took them straight off without even sitting on them, so the covers themselves are still in brand new condition and completely sellable.nnWhen trying to put them back in the box, the cardboard packaging broke. It’s a cardboard box, so that’s not exactly surprising.nnBefore coming in, I called the store to check if this would be an issue because I didn’t want to waste my time. The guy on the phone asked if the product itself was fine, and I explained that the covers were still brand new but the box had broken. He said that was fine.nnHowever, when I came into the store, the staff member called another lady over to process the refund. As soon as she saw the box was broken, she refused the refund and said “how am I supposed to sell it with a broken box?” Even though the actual product is perfectly fine.nnYour not selling the box, your selling the product ‍nnShe also had a rude attitude about it and looked at me like I was stupid for even asking. For reference, she’s the lady with the lip piercings who is the manager.nnI went back to my car and read the refund policy and nowhere does it state that a refund can be refused because the box is damaged. After going back and forth for quite a while, I was eventually given a refund.nnThis whole situation could have taken two minutes, but instead it turned into nearly an hour of unnecessary arguing and hassle.
Huge store, great selection of items, pretty reasonably priced. Sometimes staff can be hard to find but always helpful. Tiffany on check-out was very kind and polite, outstanding member of staff. Thank you
Store is constantly understaffed with people who lack any form of automotive knoweledge. Zero parts experience, zero product experience. Stocks are always low or not there. Prices are not particularly competetive. Avoid these guys if you have an alternative.
