Hong King style diner food. I will come back for more. The food was good, and very well priced.

My go to place for a hearty meal, great selection of dishes, homemade comfort food taste, and super good value for money.

One of my favorite places to eat in Auckland! Despite it's an old fashioned one with it's long history in the business there are so many goodies listing on the menu. Especially Cantonese hotpot, inexpensive but super delicious! Lunch special $8.8 you get a black pepper beef rice. It's cheap but don't worry it doesn't mean the quality goes down, tasty as it should be. See?! I even forgot to take pictures of the foods we ordered today. Anyway, just go and try you will definitely like it.

The place is small. Lunch time is madness and crowded. Need to go before 12.00 if you need a table to enjoy your food, once you ordered and need to add extra, sorry you will hv to wait in a queue for your turn and get your food after 10 mins. They are not like other cafe where you can order then have your food and pay when your finished. You pay as you ordered. The food is worth the money and we have this pork stomach soup very yummy and enough for 4 person to enjoy. Value for money.

If you like cheap food, quick and fast service this is the place. Good food, if you like Cantonese style food. You won't wait for long. Come in, order, eat and go, which is nice that's why seats are always available.Food: 5/5

My wife bought me vegetarian fried rice as a meat free option. The rice was in lumps and tasted and looked boiled not fried and the veges were some brownish? Corn kernels some bok choy ? and I think some bits of onion. 100% tasteless for $20. Tasted exactly like boiled rice with nothing else for flavour. After 2 mouthfuls I threw it in the bin. Beware. No stars if I could. Parking: Very limited parking.

Rating only as the service wasn't so friendly. However, the portion/quantity they serve is definitely worth the price! The food is not very tasty or 100% authentic but filling. The Chicken Laksa Noodle Soup wasn't tasting as good as I get from other restaurants in Auckland/CBD yes, those restaurants charge more than double Sunrise Cafe price though.

Clearly quality and quantity of food is really high. Prices are relatively cheap as well. Service is quite fast and staff are very helpful. Highly recommended

Their shop will definitely fool you, although their shop look a bit shabby, their food are yummy with generous portion and fairly priced. Their staff members also very friendly and helpful, though some of them understand chinese much better than english. Have hundreds of items in their menu though only small amount of photos of the dish are available; however, whatever you choose, more often than not you'll be satisfied.
