The first person we spoke to was the teller who was rude and seemed annoyed we had interrupted her. She asked if we had an appointment which we were told we didn't need from the call centre. The second person was in sales who was helping us open an everyday account and savings account. He was a real misogynist. He only spoke to my partner, whenever he was talking about me the sales assistant referred to me as she or her and never looked at me. He talked down to me and treated me as though I was forcing my partner to do something against his will old ball and chain. I was shocked to be treated this way by a supposed professional. It was the first time in a long time I have felt such disregard and disrespect from a stranger. This branch needs customer service training for ALL their staff.
Disappointed to be told I had to make a consultation appointment to open an account, even though I'd been banking with Suncorp for over 25 years. The teller obviously has targets to meet by referring me to a consultant so they can try and upsell me something I don't need. I opened the account in less than 60 seconds online in the end! Funny that the Caloundra branch's recorded message always says they are busy dealing with customers, even when it's outside of opening hours?? Too many questions from tellers about things like what I was going to do with my withdrawn money when it's a considerable amount. Errr, none of their business really
Went to branch to deposit money. Only person in line but that's okay. Didn't mind waiting but Charmaine called me up without even looking in my direction. Still busy doing something on desk and even greeted me while looking at desk. Only time she looked at me was to hand receipt but not even a smile. What sour customer service.
Absolutely disgusting experience in dealing with lending manager Thomas Wilson. Promises the world but delivers heartache of the financial sort. When applying to extend my interest only period on my home loan Thomas assured me it was a simple variation ....well that simple variation was not exactly right inexperience. After my many, mostly unanswered, phone calls, and frustrating dealings with him, Tom advised that i would need to apply for a whole new loan and That I should not worry about continuing to make my payments as the new loan would pay out the old loan. Long story short 2 months later with little to no communication and 2 now principal and interest loan repayments outstanding Thomas advises me that loan will not be approved oh and by the way your now 2 payments $4400.00 in arrears plus another payment $2200.00 due in 2weeks....5weeks to Christmas ....thank you Thomas...goodbye A+credit rating.... Most incompetent, inexperienced and frustrating man I have dealt with in a long time. Debbie Bremer
WORST HOME LOAN LENDING MANAGER AND TERRIBLE MISLEADING HOME LOAN PACKAGE. I would give this bank zero stars if I could. The worst mistake I have ever made was excepting a free appraisal by the Suncorp staff member who was meant to be a specalist Suncorp home loan lender. I am now set up on a terrible rate, new package back to thirty years due to being completly mislead, completely misinformed and completely taken advantage off. Ultimately being left in a complete mess. I complained at the Caloundra Suncorp bank to be told you signed the contract not our ploblem speak to our home loan head office but we can assure you nothing wil be done now you signed it next time get thirty party advice hahah. Please please do not make the same mistake I was pushed into. See a home loan lender / broker that does not work for the bank special suncorp bank. I'm now in a terrible position and in a terrible home loan package put together by suncorp.
Went in to open my 6th bank account with this branch for my 6th grandchild. Made special arrangements for my daughter to travel 20km just to bring ID documentation which I knew they would require Was told they were too busy and I had to make an appointment which was okay except I asked if they could take note of my daughters documentation since it was a big effort for her to get there again. They refused to take copies and were adamant that all people would have to return the following week which was the earliest I could get an appointment. We then rang suncorp phone assistance and were told that we definitely did not require an appointment and they would ring Caloundra Branch and arrange it but would you believe that they rang back to say Caloundra werent answering. They do not deserve any business. The attitude was arrogant and condescending. I will do my utmost to take all accounts which have substantial balances elsewhere. From little trees big trees grow.
Great bank, very respectful and fun teller to talk to. Asked us about our day. Don’t know why people are so upset on here. It’s a bank. You guys are just cranky and old.
Was depositing money and got questioned why I was depositing money,it has nothink to do with anyone why I am depositing money,and the man had gloves on and there was a man before me and he didn't change he's gloves before serving me,you can't keep the same gloves on and think yeah I will just put hand sanitizer on the gloves each time,sorry but that is not healthy at all change your gloves
Absolutely rubbish Wait for 30 mins I queue just to deposit cash Don't know how this bank running Definitely high authority need to take some action or do some secret check that how customers wait in rubbish bank to deposit cash which took only 45 seconds
Your customer service is a joke. it's a minimum wait of 20 minutes everytime come to deposit money. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER
