Booked a Sunbus shuttle from airport to my hotel for 9pm. As I got to the waiting area for shuttles, mine didn't appear. I waited 2 hours and not one Sunbus shuttle appeared. I tried to call the after hours number but found it disconnected. Tried the office hours number in case there was a recorded message... it just rang. I got a taxi in the end and found I had an honest taxi driver. Hassle free. Next day during office hours I rang the Sunbus company and no one answered the phone all day. Totally disgusted with the Sunbus company as this isn't the first time they screwed me over. Taking Starbus next time to the airport.

Had a prebooked package from 11th Feb to 14th Feb 2016 and our travel agent had booked our transfers with Sunbus. Met at Airport, name ticked off, taken over to bus stop and left there, being told 'the boys will fix you up' Well we saw no one for at least 20mins, so I approached a person with a clipboard who then walked up and down saying , won't be long. A man walked down and said he'd been waiting for over an hour. we waited for almost an hour and no buses. Just as we decided to leave another group walked over from the terminal and a bus arrived and they were placed immediately on the bus while our group and several other groups were still waiting. We left and caught a taxi. Rang the company who were very rude and not helpful, just saying they had over 4000 people to transport this weekend with the concert on. Well you had information as to  what flights we were on, kniew how many there were on each flight so where was our transport? Skybuses had buses every 15 mins it seemed flying by- quite organised. We cancelled our return and were told we would be refunded. The bus turned up at our accommodation on the Sunday looking for us ? and we are still waiting on our refunds. Poor service, no organisational skills, no communication and no idea how to deal constructively with complaints in a reasonable manner as any good business would dictate..Would not use again.

Having flown into Melbourne on Saturday 13/2/16 my husband & I felt safe knowing we had pre-booked Sunbus to transport us to our hotel in Little Collins St Melbourne an approximate 30 min trip.  Unfortunately we endured a 3 hour nightmare that ended in us getting off the bus & getting a taxi. Several other passengers did the same. Firstly we were herded to the pick up area then left standing in the hot sun for an hour whilst this seemingly disorganized stressed out & somewhat rude man asked us 12 times which hotel we were going to. He moved us here there  & then back again. We watched a couch with empty seats leave about 12 passengers behinnd. Finally we got on a smaller bus. However we were left sitting on the bus with no air conditioning on for about 20 minutes whilst more chaotic herding went on. Man puffing & sweating then got on the bus & spent more time asking again who was going where. Finally 2 hours after we landed we are off. Good you may think. No it gets worse. With respect the driver who was elderly & did not appear to speak or understand English very well, did not appear to have any idea where he was going his driving was in the view of the passengers unsafe. He needed to frequently look down at a map whilst in heavy traffic. We went past Little Collins & dropped off passengers on Collins Street we asked if we were going to be dropped off next. Driver pointed to written text next stop St Kilda?? This would have added up to an hour to our trip no logic!  At that point 3 hours after we landed in Melbourne having been up since 6am we had most definately tolerated as much as we could.  We got off Sunbus & paid for a taxi to our hotel at 4pm in a stressed hot & frustrated state. Our afternoon plans no longer viable. We cancelled our return airport transfer & have referred the matter to our travel agent.  Having travelled widely this experience is the worse we have endured. Definately not recommended.

I booked a shuttle with Sunbus online and they did not show up.  I waited for them for over an hour late at night.  After finding a customer service desk I was told that all buses were cancelled that week.  I was given a number to call only to hear an automated message telling me that buses were cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.  I was travelling alone, no one tried to contact me in advance - this is not good enough.

This is the easiest, fastest and cheapest way to get to the airport especially if you are staying in the city. Taxi or hotel car to airport charges AUD70 - AUD80 but we only paid a fraction of it. We were informed of the pick up time way ahead before the day. We were pick directly at our airport lobby and sent straight to our terminal. Driver was polite and helpful. The driver came slightly earlier and it was really a breeze. You will have no worries if you book this transfer, just relax and enjoy the pleasant ride.

i have always found Sun Bus to be the best Value and friendly service in Melbourne.They always go out of there way to be of service.The friendly reliable staff take pride in there work and always get me to and from my destination on time.
