We visited a few days ago and ordered the senior meals. The food was quite good quality, but the vegetables had no flavour and the food was stacked which I hate. The meals came out very late after most of our table had already finished. The waitress was unfriendly and simply plonked the food on the table with no smiles and walked off in a huff. We won’t go back.
Clean. Modern. There were 11 at our table and each meal was delicious. No complaints from kids either.nStaff. I frequent The club at least twice a week.The staff at the bowling club are usually very nice. The meals in the bistro have been very good.nIn the Dome bar there has been a coffee and cake deal for $10 or $9.50 for members which is great. However on one occasion there were no cakes??nUnfortunately the baked goods, primarily cakes are often left in the display cabinet too long. This results is the cream going hard and of course the cake becoming very dry making it inedible. This has happened on four occasions in recent times. The coffee and cake deal has now been withdrawn which is disappointing.nMy friend and I had the chocolate cake with the senior lunch, the cake was very dry and we were unable to eat it. We were expecting to have a piece of the cakes that were on display even if it was a small piece rather than cake that looked like it was frozen Sarah Lee cake.nMy family decided to take me to the Mother’s Day brunch. The hot food looked like it had been sitting out for a very long time. There were only two types of cereals, cornflakes and milk soaked oats. There was no Yoghurt at all. The cantaloupe and honeydew melon were tasteless. We were very disappointed when we had to buy our teas and coffees on top of the breakfast!nI have written privately to the CEO of the club with the above feedback before I’ve made it public. However the response I received was very negative and dismissive. None of the concerns I have were acknowledged and definitely not addressed.nI am not the only one who has had similar concerns in the community about the club. Many people will not write a review but they will complain to friends and family.nMost businesses are very glad to have feedback so that they can make improvements and enhance their customers experience in anyway they can.
I normally give this venue direct feedback which they request via email after attending there. The feedback is always honest. After several very poor quality meals and a live bug in my food we gave up. The soccer club have great food, cheaper drinks and pleasant staff. Its a great venue.
Had the Calamari last night absolutely yummy as usual, so was the cheese and garlic bread, the Calamari isn't the processed circle Calamari you get from the supermarket but genuine fresh Calamari. Couldn't fault it great meal great price great service. Well done Bowling Club love having a meal there.
