First time here in a very long time. Service was impeccable, happy, smiley, and helpful staff.nThe food was pretty good. The big breakfast was tasty and filling. The only down point was the poached eggs. One was cooked perfectly and runny, and the other was overcooked see photos. Bit strange to see this if the eggs were cooked fresh and at the same time. The milkshakes looked amazing and were great. Definitely be back in the future.
Top tier food and desserts. I really enjoyed my juicy double beef burger and the chips were hot and crispy. The dessert, where I got the mini shake, was the star of the show and quite massive. It was extremely sweet and almost delivered me to the nearest clinic but I would say it was worth it for the experience. You have to share the shake with someone else to survive it. Very unique take on shakes with a very generous serving of candies and biscuits and ice cream layered all over the dessert.

It's available on both Google and InstagramnnAfter years of not visiting, I decided to return and check it out.nnIt seems they’ve recently done a bit of refurbishing.nnThe service was very friendly and polite, and I was seated straight away. The café has a relaxed, chilled vibe.nnI ordered the “Our Benedict”: potato rosti, bacon, poached eggs, hollandaise, Turkish bread, roasted seeds, shallots, and balsamic glaze, with a Kransky on the side.nnThe breakfast was delicious, packed with flavor, and the portions were massive. The Kransky was cooked perfectly although, to be honest, I could’ve skipped it because the servings were already so generous. The hollandaise sauce was divine, though I’m not sure if it’s made in-house—it paired beautifully with the dish. That said, the potato rosti wasn’t fully cooked, and the poached eggs were overdone to the point of being hard I prefer them runny.nnThe coffee was excellent as always—something they consistently do well.nnI’d definitely return if I’m in the area.nnFood Quality: 4/5nService: 5/5nAmbience: 5/5nValue for Money: 4/5nCleanliness and Hygiene: 5/5nInnovation and Uniqueness: 5/5
Sugar Buns is not worth the hype… it was, 2-3 years ago. It starts with the table set up. There is no cutlery on the table, the staff will place the food down and you’re just looking around, not having utensils to eat it with. Whilst ordering through the QR code is convenient, expect to wait up to 30 minutes on food as well. The food does not have much flavour, and it has gone down in quality. I had the homemade sausage roll and whilst chewing, to my dismay, I came across a huge onion peel. The staff do not present customer service very well, and you have to try very hard to get their attention. I won’t be going back here, it’s not what it once was.
Highly recommended. The food, drinks and desserts here have always been wonderful. The service was great. We usually have big breakfast, egg Benedict, carrot cake, vanilla slide. One of the best local brunch places.
