So the next day, turned on the video in my phone, got on my Scooter and did “Mum's Shopping.” The various staff at Station Square were awesome, doing selfies with me, saying “Hi to Mum” as she can't go out much anymore, uploaded the Video to Maryborough Community and the next day, my account was SUSPENDED!!!! I read through the Facebook the reasons why an account can be locked, Illegal Activity ect ect, and since I had done none of those things, I disputed the decision and now have LOST EVERYTHING. The next day going into Subway again, telling staff my Account was disabled, “DEANA” a separate Manager said it was reported because it went against their Corporate Rules, not to film Staff or anything inside stores.... Indicating to me that it was her that reported the video. The video was just near 40 minutes long and their store was the last one, so they would have had to watch more than 20mins of it as it was the last store visited. Deana had options; 1 Message me on Facebook to take it down, which I would have done so immediately. 2 Speak with me the next day. But instead of this, Deana took that drastic action and now have lost Photos of my Father who passed last year, Articles and Photos of my 3 Foster Kids, my Business Account as well as precious photos, and friends of 17-18years, some from High School, which I will never get back. I called and tried to speak to Deana about this and she just hung up on me. I was not rude or anything and am really disappointed by her actions. Am NEVER going to this Store again and will tell anyone in our community that this happened.
I used to go there every day, or second day when doing Mum's shopping for over half a year. A few weeks ago, had an idea to film my normal morning doing Mums shopping, showing the friendly staff at Coles, various other shops in Station Square and being on my Scooter. The day before, I informed various staff members at the shops in Station Square and got a lot of support. Also spoke with Coralie, a Manager of this Subway store of my idea that I was going to do it the next morning and her reply was friendly, laughing and saying, “I might not be in at that time of morning.”.......
Incompetent staff. Waited too long to order. Once my sub was toasted, it sat there for ages while I was waiting to pay. Where was the Manager? Kids had no idea about the till. My sub went cold, I left because I was still waiting to pay. Not happy.
The girl with pink hair who initially served us, ‘greeted’ us with disgusting attitude, was extremely unprofessional and short tempered. The way that this girl spoke to her colleagues, is absolutely unacceptable. I am sure the other 4 customers in line would agree how appalling it was to witness how incredibly unhelpful, rude, condescending and degrading you were towards the younger staff members requiring assistance. I have never experienced such second hand embarrassment for an employee. You should be so ashamed. Do not take your bad day/bad mood out on your customers, who are simply lined up and paying for a service. Trying to place my order had me STUNNED. While trying to explain what we wanted, this girl would cut off my partner and myself, loudly speak over the top of us, and dismiss our requests, which was really not difficult to execute- I wanted falafel balls left intact, with the marinara sauce on top and heated up like a vegetarian meatball sub. For some reason I’m still not aware of, this was too complicated for her to understand. We were getting no where with this girl, kept going back and forth, so we complied with whatever was easiest for her to do because she was literally arguing with us, insisting that the falafel balls needed to be squashed flat with her hands, broken apart and spread across the sub….? Another employee ATTEMPTED to take over, the previous girl left her post in front of the bread oven, walked away from the customers she was serving to interrupt the young girl making our sub’s, and shouted ‘WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!!!’ She then started handling the sub and pressing down on it with her hands, squashing the contents… All the while still wearing her same gloves from the sub orders behind us. This infuriated me to witness, as someone with intolerances/allergies to certain foods. The other staff on with this woman that day, were all doing a great job and should not have to put up with this sort of behaviour. This ordeal has really ruined it for me. I would be very hesitant in visiting this store again, and would much rather travel to the Hervey Bay store. Something seriously needs to be done about the customer service. I would be happy to go into further detail as to the date and time that this happened for your regional manager, franchise owner and Head Office because I think they all need to be aware of what is going on with their staff.
Never usually whinge but young girl in store yesterday kept calling me love. Find this very condescending! Staff should NEVER call customers 'love!'!!
Short tempered staff. Very happy face but rude comments to our face or made after service too busy chatting with other staff. Food lovely and out in a timely manner. Great choices. Beautiful decor
This could possibly be the fastest Subway in Fraser Coast. The customer service is great, always smiling and ready to go. This one worker, I'm pretty sure their name is Ruby, always is super happy and sets the vibes. Now compare this to Hervey Bay Subway, they charged me double for a 6 inch sub, as if I'm going to pay 9.50 for a pizza melt. In my life, I have been to many subway restaurants around Australia. I feel it is my duty to let you at subway Maryborough know yours is one of the best I have been to. The girl who served me was very friendly, without being at all condescending she had black hair. The food was also great. I am really liking the new range. It’s great to be able to try some new things. I was also impressed with the fast service, and how clean the store is.
I was served by an exellent worker. Tony himself. He introduced me to the menu and made me feel at home. He also offered me a free cookie at the cost of a quick survey. Would suggest the double meat BLT it is rather erotic.
My favorite is the Pizza with Cheese on the Italian herbs bread. Definite "yes" to the pizza sauce, all the salads incl. halapino and finally the Chipotle sauce. An absolutely delicious meal! Great staff & great manager. Also for a work party at the end of 2018, we ordered 5 trays. Presentation was FANTASTIC, taste & freshness was FANTASTIC! What really surprised me was that so many people who had never eaten Subway were converted! They never knew how good Subway is. All the best with your new store on Lennox Street.
