Lamb is delicious. I’d say more options and varieties. Greens and bamboo shoots, I paid 50 and I didn’t even eat very much- I’d like some variety.
If you would like to have a healthy dinner, this is the place for you. Ypu can eat as much as veggies and sliced meat wouldn't feel guilty. There are desserts and fruits buffet for refleshing and ypu can eat more!! Soup has a lot of chinese spice and herbal medicine too. So you would't feel heavy next day. We will definitely come back, if we need to have veggies. Vegetarian options: There are veggies, tofu menu.
One of the better hot pot restaurants in town. Good variety of food. The hot pot uses induction cooker which reduces heat for the customers. Each customer has their own pot so you don’t need to share pot with anyone. You can also choose your own soup flavour. Buffet comes with free standard soft drink. Beers are extra. If you change your mind and change the soup, there is an $8 fee as well. If you are local to Cairns, you can sign up for member discount. For most people, spring water, mushroom, or traditional soup are the best bet. Tom yum if you want something a bit different. Yes they have various veggies, tofu and mushroom as well for vegetarian. WARNING: the pepper spicy soup is NOT for the faint of heart. If you can’t eat fresh chillies then don’t even think about it. Even if you can eat raw fresh chillies, this is still something else.
Was my first time there so I didn't know quite what to do. Basically, you get a pot of broth on a hob in front of you and choose different items to put in your broth. The meat is very thinly sliced so it cooks fast. You get a list of things at first, but you can just ask for more as you go along. Dessert bar was lacking, so the kids might not be so excited, but the food was great.
Amazing after being spoilt for choice in Melbourne with many hotpots in the city. Cairns definitely has a Gold pot here. Suan Suan is totally spot on and spoilt for choice. 3 banquets to choose from and the quality of good was amazing it will be a regular haunt for us now we are back.
Always good service with a smile, best buffet dinner place in Cairns, Hot pot soup is delicious, good choice of vegetables. The thinly sliced meat's Cook in under a minute. Great value for filling up the teenage kids. Kid-friendliness: Under a certain age eat free and its cheaper prices under 11 years.
It was good and tasty. Really happy about the food, but just not much option. I had ordered the tofu, and end up not serving me, maybe they miss it. Really impressed about the taste .
Solid shabu shabu style hot pot buffet - you get your own pot and broth to cook the food in! At A$50 per person, you get unlimited amount of food incl. Australian beef slices and prawns. The spicy broth was not spicy at all to our taste though. There are other fancier tiers but we were happy with the basic tier because that’s how you are supposed to have hot pot anyways :. The place gets reasonably busy around dinner time so we called in advance to book a table.
Nice hot pot , friendly staffs and great environment. Will be go again
