food is really good i had the chicken fried rice 4/5 and roasted duck which is 5/5 not so salty which is good came on new year night which they are busy packed, the guy tried his best to serve us. but i saw the small girl work at the bar and floor is doing extraordinary job sending food, making drinks and clearing table, she's legend. food is really fast came out like 30 min for busy night its incredible effort.
Excellent food. Great customer service and friendly staff. Food was so good we went back for a second time. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food, we thoroughly enjoyed all our food. We had the fried dumplings, peeking duck and Mongolian lamb. All delicious. Very Friendly service, reasonably prices for the food you receive. Definitely recommend and will definitely return again
Pretty good china authentic chinese food...gets a little slow when packed with customers
Unfortunately, the quality of the food was less than sub-standard. The xiao long bao served were not of the same quality others have posted here. Tasted like they were out of a frozen box. Chicken stirfry lacked flavour and substance. No draft beer was available at the time which the server blamed on covid. While the service was great, it seems for the price there have been too many cut costs here to be an enjoyable experience.
They are friendly enough and really try hard. I do think they are under staffed as we had to wait ages for food. Having said that the food was well prepared and tasty fresh etc. I think if you guys could fix up your operational issues you could be a great place to eat.Food: 3/5
Very disappointing experience last night. Had been once before and had enjoyed my meal. Sadly my return was not as pleasant. Staff stressed to the max. we waited 1.5 hours for our meal after asking several times. Tuesday night too. Once our meal arrived it was luke warm. Tasty yes. At 8.30 night children running everywhere falling off chairs. Dishes and glasses piled up along bar no one available to clean them up. Whole experience was disappointing. No will really think twice before we return. We really miss Limmys on Sheridan.
Decided to try this restaurant out on a Friday night. Ordered the twice cooked pork, special fried rice, beef crispy noodles and xiaolongbao. Initially wanting the beef ho fun but we entered late and it was sold out, so if you plan on ordering this come in earlier. The older man who served us was very polite and provided great service. Overall pleased with the food, the beef crispy noodles also exceeded my expectations. Will return in the future to try to beef ho fun.
Great place for when you are craving Northern Chinese food in Crains. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are good. Obviously try the seafood, we recommend the steamed clams. The spicy noodles with peanuts will hit your hot spots, as will the ma po tofu which you can get vegetarian if you prefer. Service is spotty, you have to wait to get the staff's attention. The food delivery can also be slow, but the food is worth it.
