Really disappointed by the service with student flights southland.  I was promised a refund on my deposit on a flight quote. I was told I would have to pay this deposit otherwise they could not hold my flights overnight, despite five other travel agents I went to all being able to do this free of charge. So I went in a few days later after deciding to go with another travel agent expecting to get my deposit back and was refused.  I was told I could only use this deposit towards another flight with student flights.  

Also, the 'cheap' flights that I was given were incredibly long and was told I would have to stop over in a city for a day.  Promising cheap flights is all well and good, but not when it takes twice as long to get somewhere.

They really use the idea that you're a student and don't disclose all the important information.  Even after I went in to get my flight changed they kept asking why I didn't want to go with them, rather then trying to fix my personal probelm.
