Strathfield Main Library

It's a nice comfortable library with friendly staff. However there is a yearly $10 membership fee if you live out of the zone. A bit strange for a library IMO

Not sure what her name was but the Asian lady at the counter was very rude when I was asking for information. I'm sure everyone else is nice though however my experience was very disappointing

strathfield library is the place that you want to really go to if you want a sense of community and unity with all the lads at the library. Every saturday and sunday i come here and it is just wow, the punjabi singing that goes on, the amazing students that come here to have a good time with their pals, and the girl that dances to the beat of the indian songs, every community activity that goes on here is just simply amazing. sometimes, there are abit of distractions such as the babies crying for their 'mama' (chinese), but other than that, dont let it bring you down, just go with the floooww come on here for a good time !

Good collection of books and media. Quiet and well maintained. They have a small collection of Tamil books both for kids and adults.
