Pros:nBig library. Staffs are supportive & well informed. Well organised library. Prints and book leading facilities are automated and easy. Location is very close to Homebush station which is really nice. Excellent collection of books for people of all ages.nnCons:nNothing
The library is very beautiful, especially in the morning when the sunlight is bright. But in the afternoon it becomes very noisy because of school dismissal and parents bringing children to play. I strongly suggest setting up a Quiet Study Room like in Ashfield Library to separate the areas
Lots of books and movie DVDs to borrow. There're many seats on level 1 for studying. Took 1 star away because of noises, as lots of small kids are playing and laughing in the library. Would recommended wearing noise-proof earphones if you need to focus on work/study. Staff are friendly and helpful, and they helped me to get my membership card and reserve PCs.nThought it's Strathfield Library, it is around 7 mins walk from Homebush station. Took me almost 20 mins to walk from Strathfield station. Q
Too noisy and loud. Great after hours options but the library functions as more of a community hub and teen hang out space than a place for serious focus and study. After hours as mentioned is its best selling point, however there is a lack of security and safety in that regard.
Very nice library with after hours extended access, it's good for people who want to study or reading on the public holiday or after the normal library hour.nStaffs are friendly. Library is clean and modern. Highly recommended and great thanks to the council for this facility in this area.
