Hurstville Library is very charming peaceful place which I been there before with my socials group & myself to read some good books which I enjoy reading the most to learn about what there are describing the action of Star Wars. The functionality of this place is very good to see so much spaces for people to move around to look for books or doing their studies. Kids play area is really nice for them to play with toys to keep them active while not getting them bored. Overall outlook I did like the library very friendly staff saying hello to our socials group. Not much parking outside to look out for while finding parking spots. Good to relax enjoy your day while it last at the library
Good location as it is closed to the train station.nMany desks to read or study. There is an interesting space as called ‘Media Lab’ which I have not seen in other public libraries in Sydney so far.nHuge selections of Chinese booksnnOnly the female restroom was a bit stinky
Studio Lighting for Portrait Photography Class by Will at Hurstville Library – A Must-Attend for Beginners!nnI recently attended the Studio Lighting for Portrait Photography class at Hurstville Library, led by Will, and I can confidently say it was an amazing experience! As a beginner photographer, I was a bit apprehensive at first, but Will’s approachable teaching style and deep knowledge made the session enjoyable and highly educational.nnThe class was a free learning event, which is incredible considering the quality of the content shared. Will covered essential techniques for portrait photography, from setting up studio lights to understanding how light can shape and enhance a subject. The practical demonstrations were extremely helpful, and I walked away with tips that will definitely elevate my photography skills.nnWhat I appreciated most was how beginner-friendly the class was. Will ensured everyone felt included, and he was happy to answer questions and guide us through hands-on exercises.nnI would love to see an editing photos session added in the future—it would be a fantastic complement to the skills we learned in this class.nA big thank you to Will and Hurstville Library for offering such an enriching experience!
Lovely medium sized library.nI’ve always experienced warm customer service from the librarians and becoming a member was very quick and simple! It took around 10-15m from starting to fill the form to getting my card.nLarge variety of books!
Pleasant library located near a bus stop in Hurstville. Has a wide selection of dvds and CDs along with books for a library which is worth a look. Lots of study spaces here with quiet areas and a music room at the back. Nice and large too. Certainly does the job.
